I was stitching fiend this weekend. After finishing PS Christmas Eve, I pulled out Sam Sarah’s Witch’s Hat and got busy!
I using DMC for the most part, sticking to charted for black (wdw Kohl) and glow-in-the-dark for the ghosts and parts of the hat.
I do have to say that while the glow thread is better than filament, it aint by much. Both pretty much suck. Thread has better coverage (imho)
I didnt get much x’s added today. Due to Homer’s failing health (not eating or drinking much and very lethargic) we decided to change food again to raw. So after cruising the internet, (http://www.catnutrition.org/index.php) off I went to round up whats needed and get mixing. No cooking with the raw diet. I wont share pics of the end results but he has tried it out. I hope this helps him.
I love your new WIP : the color are very nice. They should help to get in the fall mood ;-)
ReplyDeleteI hope your poor kitty is doing better and eating. Whatever works we'll do for them.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty witch hat. I'd be interested to see how the glow thread actually looks in the dark. I hope the new diet helps Homer.
ReplyDeletethat witch hat is so cute it took me a minute to realise it was a hat and not a woman lol ssh dont ask how i thought it was but i did hehe
ReplyDeleteWow, you have so much done! Sheesh...be sure to take a break every now and again!
