SOUS - CIRCLES

Sad to say this is my last post for Stuck On U Sketches!
boooooooooohoooooo.
What a fun great team. I am so grateful for my time there.
Our challenge this week is all about CIRCLES!!!!!!!!!!
Hop on over to SOUS to check out what our fabulous girls created.
Here's my contribution:

First you will want to start with a foundation page. Then pull out a nice contrasting piece of paper. Choose your favorite punch and work your way around the edges. You'll want to position the picture where it looks best for you. For me I was going for a circular draw. I made the arrows lead the viewer into the picture.

and now a few close ups. A simple page but full of wonderful smiles!

From here you can see a close up of the gears and arrows for a more masculine feel.
This is my son and my sister  taken several years ago!

Here you assemble the gears and flowers to anchor the photo down and to represent masculine and feminine within the photo. Choose complimentary colors to match the photo and papers. Choose your favorite glue to adhere your papers and embellishments.

So there ya have it. Super simple but dynamic page to really focus on the photo and to satisfy both the masculine and feminine.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great summer! Thank you so much to LEAH AND NANNE! You ladies are fabulous!!
Remember to smile and Happy Scrappn!

Welcome May!!

The challenge this week is to use a TREE in your project.
Go on over to SOUS blog and see what our wonderful designers have cooked up. Really cute projects.
I used my Sil. Cameo to make this Tree Card. I think it can function as any type of a card. I wanted the message inside to carry the real message so I left the front simple.

All the cuts were from MY FRIEND'S MACHINE - Cricut Explore  (yes I wish I had one). Join us over at Stuck On U Sketches and show us what you make with a house... and definitely check out what our design team has cooked up for us.

Stuck On U Sketches -Die Cut Snowman Challenge

Hello Crafters,

Is it still winter where you are?? It sure is here in Arkansas! So this week's challenge over at
Stuck On U Sketches  is to use a Snowman on your project.
I really love Tim Holtz's Sizzix Snowman.

Here's a cute little card I made featuring my snowman, Snowy. :)

Isn't he just a cutie pie!?
I used my Paper Temptress Papers... Blueberry Kraft Paper and the Lustre lines of paper.

The chipboard you see is from 3rd Eye... Make sure to check out the 3rd Eye store to get your snowflakes. I first put some modeling paste on some of the snowflakes and then I used Tim Holtz Metallic Distress Stain. I like how it turned out.

Now of course my frosty flowers come from Renea's Bouquets Etsy store.. Which you must absolutely check out a perfect compliment to any project.

In the above you can see one of my favorite snowflake chippies from 3rd Eye. I edged the card in Distress Ink - Broken China and then applied modeling paste to sprinkle a bit of frostiness. :)

I hope you're are withstanding the cold and making some lovely memories as the new year starts.
Go check out the design team's inspiration over at Stuck On U Sketches and definitely join us in our challenge. Snowmen are so cute!

Stuck on U Sketches -Die Cut Team - SNOWFLAKE challenge. A Canvas

Hello and hope this finds you having a super crafty day! Below you will find my CANVAS.

Over at Stuck On U Sketches (SOUS) the challenge this time is to incorporate a SNOWFLAKE into your work.

I thought instead of a card I would use snowflakes on a canvas. I found this really cool stencil from StencilGirl. I also found my super cool snowflakes stamps and badges from 3rd Eye. I used my Cameo to cut out my Snowflake. There were so many options to choose from, it was hard to stop at one. I should have chosen a bigger canvas to go snowflake crazy on!!

Here is the final product:

I will include some close ups so you can see all the fun I had.

Supply list:
Paper Temptress  Lustre Package
StencilGirl Snow Storm Stencil
3rd Eye Snowflake Badge TEBS007 and Crystal SnowflakesStamp - TES-183
Tim Holtz Distress Ink : Iced Spruce

There ya have it. I hope you will join us for these next two weeks and pop a snowflake onto one of your projects. Is it snowing where you live? Do you have any great photos involving you or your loved ones in the snow? I can't wait to have you join us in this challenge. Make sure to check out the rest of the Design Team's inspiration. You will love it!!
Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment.
