Creative Memories Reminisce wedding layout: A Divine Love

The end is near, I promise...less than a dozen pages to go, however, I have been hoarding many photos of layouts that are not part of challenges. Therefore, you will be seeing wedding layouts for at least another month.  This layout is one of 5 pages I completed over the weekend.  I made one more last night.  My total is pretty good this week, but this weekend no actually crafting for me.  It is dedicated to working at the Stampaway Convention.  If you are within a couple of hours of Cincinnati, I highly suggest you attend.  I will be at Judikin's booth.

Back to my pages, I just love using these papers for the ceremony photos because the work so well with the stained glass windows.  This venue is 901 Lindsay, an old historic church in downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee.  It was a lovely venue.

This is the sketch from Sketch N Scrap from August 1.

Here is a close up of my Cricut cut title.  I used papers from the collection for a perfect match inking generously with chalking ink for a distressed look to compliment the papers.

I love Prima's Say it with Pearls flourishes.  I have used many in this album.

Ingredients:
Creative Memories Reminisce Power Palette
Creative Memories Divine Wedding Cricut cart
Prima flourish

The Toast! Creative Memories Divine Collection with Sketch N Scrap sketch

I took the opportunity of an extra day off in the middle of the week to catch up on some scrapbooking.  I am determined to finish my wedding album before my fifth anniversary later this year.

I used the July 1st sketch over at Sketch N Scrap.  As you can see I flipped the sketch.  I replaced the stars with champagne glasses.

A close up of the tag and border.  I punched the tag and added some bling to the front. I used a mystical looking fiber on the tag.    I fussy cut the printed design from the paper and tucked some gold shimmer paper underneath.  I added a pearl border on top of the printed design.

I created a couple of die cuts with my Cricut.  The title and the champagne glasses are both from the Creative Memories Divine Wedding cartridge.

Ingredients:
Creative Memories Divine Power Palette
Cricut cart: Divine Wedding Aphrodite font
Creative Memories tag punch and fancy corner rounder
vellum, acetate and gold shimmer papers
black card stock
bling, beads, pearls and fiber

Thank you for popping by today.

To the one I laugh with...wedding layout with Quick Quotes Celebrate

Good morning Quick Quotes readers!  Alicia here today with more wedding photos,  I have created a double page layout and I used the beautiful and limited Celebrate paper this time.  I was first inspired by the vellum wedding quote "A Toast".  I knew I had some lovely pictures of the toast at my wedding to use and I went from there...

The quote had some beautiful butterflies on it but I wanted to make them pop.  I took a water pen and dabbed it in my Bloody Mary PowderPuff and my Rusty Nail PowderPuff inks and colored on the back of the vellum behind the butterflies.  I tried to stay in the lines but because I was coloring from behind any little mistakes are behind the black lines and won't show.  I also used adhesive under the colored areas and tucked the top under the ribbon for a secure but unnoticeable adhesion.

I used my Cricut and cut some butterflies out of the Celebrate paper.  Of course, every piece was inked generously with my Powder Puff chalks.  I also had some of the wide Cranberry Grosgrain ribbon that matched the Celebrate paper perfectly!  It was so wide I thought it looked good as a title ribbon across the top of the layout.  I took the title from the quote and cut it with my Cricut.  I wanted a different font for at least one word.  I found this large foam "laugh" stamp and used Bloody Mary PowderPuff ink to stamp it.  I notched the ends of the ribbon and still had a bit left over.

I created some folded ribbons with the remainder and notched those ends and topped with one of my butterflies.  I added a few gems and all done!  A simple but elegant layout!

Die Cuts with a View Monthly Stack a holic Challenge

I have been envisioning this layout all month since I saw the sketch on the DCWV blog.  I finally had a chance to work on my idea. I used the Once Upon a Time stack and accessories including stickers and die cuts.  I used a ribbon from a different DCWV collection.  I made the other piece from some Anna Griffin ribbon and lavender velvet paper.  I also used that paper to back the Monogram C and cut flowers using the Tim Holtz tattered flowers sizzix die cut.  I used the Creative Memories Divine Wedding Cricut Cartridge to cut the letters using CM eggplant paper.  The base is a coral shimmer paper.  I thought the light color made the DCWV paper pop off the page!  I rounded all corners with the CM fancy corner rounder.  Here is a link to their challenge and a copy of the sketch.

Close up of the flowers I created using DCWV die cut flowers, premade flowers, and flowers I diecut.

I just thought this collection went perfectly with my wedding cake topper.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a blessed day!

I am also entering this one in the following challenges:

Use at least one of 11 items.  I used flowers and paper layering.

Crazy for Cricut and Creative Memories Blog Hop

Welcome to the Crazy for Cricut & Creative Memories Blog Hop!  You should have arrived from Clare's blog:  http://www.cricutcraftyclare.blogspot.com/.

Today I have a project created with the Creative Memories Divine Wedding cartridge and the Close to my Heart's Artiste cartridge to create the box.  I created this box to hold candies at my wedding next weekend.  I have used The Paper Company golden shimmer for half the boxes and Recollections ivory shimmer for the other half.  I used the opposite paper for the "happily" layer and TPC blackberry shimmer for all the "ever after"s and the hearts.  I spent a while experimenting with the best way to assemble the boxes.  First I used a bone folder to score the boxes.  I used glue to glue the blackberry layer to the happily layer.  I used a glue runner and a glue pen to adhere the happily layer to the box.  I then assembled the box and used a couple of glue dots on the inside flap to hold the side of the box in place.  The boxes will be holding candy!  Continuing with the "happily ever after" theme, I acquired some ribbon at Michael's which says "and they lived happily ever after".  It was enough for the bubble bottles but not quite enough for the personalized kisses bags.  I am still experimenting with another ribbon to finish those.

You can really see the shimmer in this picture:

Here are those bubble bottles:

This is the side of the box during assembly:

The glue dot is on the other side of the tab also keeping the tab secure.

I also used the CM Divine Wedding cart for my wedding invitation.  This project has it's own post:

but here is another pic:
