MCT November Stamp Release Sneak Peek

Hello and welcome to the first day of sneak peeks from My Creative Time's November stamp and die release. Today we are showcasing two awesome font stamp sets, Circle Font and Label Font.

For my tag I used Label Font. I don't have any sweet 16 stamps so this was the perfect set to make my own sentiment with.

The tag is from Emma's Tag Dies and as I mentioned the "Sweet 16" was made using the new Label Font. I cut the cupcake from the Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge. I used some polka dot ribbon from American's Crafts and topped it off with a wooden button and some pretty hemp twine from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.

This tag is about 5" x 8". I cut it from the Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge (I love the tags on this cartridge). The cute little gingerbread man (4.5") is from the Create a Critter 2 cartridge. The paper is a Christmas stack by DCWV. The gingers face is from the Winter Faces by Peachy Keen Stamps. The pretty trims at the top are both from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique and of course that AWESOME LARGE sentiment is from Emma's It's A Magical Season stamp set. Hugs- Glora

Well it is the final day of sneak peeks over at My Creative Time and I just have to say that I'm totally in LOVE with today's die and stamp set. Emma has made the cutest die called the 'Embossed Gift Card Holder' and there are also some coordinating stamps called 'Gift Card Sentiments.' These are beautiful cursive sentiments that work perfectly with this die or even on there own. I LOVE them! Here is my birthday gift card holder for today's project:

And do you see that perfect stitching around the perimeter of the bottom part of the gift card? Those are stitched stamps that come with this awesome set of sentiments. I also made some cute polka dot patterned paper using the 'Extra Small Polka Dot' stamp by Peachy Keen Stamps.

Throwback Thursday & Birthday Celebration Day 4 - My Creative Time

Hello and welcome to another fabulous Throwback Thursday at My Creative Time and the fourth day of my virtual birthday party. Today I am spotlighting My Creative Time. I have been SO SUPER blessed to be on Emma's very first design team. Can I say I have been on cloud 9 for the past 4 months! Emma is one of the sweetest people I know. Not to mention she is EXTREMELY creative and generous. I think she has made some of the MOST BEAUTIFUL sentiment stamps on the market. I seriously LOVE them to death. And she was super smart and has them manufactured by Peachy Keen Stamps, so they are of the utmost quality too.

For today's project we were asked to make a 3-D project and to use any Cricut cartridge that we wanted to use. For my project I made one of these cute baskets. I've seen a lot of them around and wanted to try one for a while.  I saw one just last week on Kristal Andrew's site (Getting Cricky) along with a simple photo tutorial and finally made one. It was super easy and I'm certain I will be making more of these. And The crepe paper ruffles were not an original idea. I have seen them on Kimberly's (My Craft Spot's) blog.

Here are a couple more angles:

Don't Emma's Polka Dot SURPRISE! stamps look beautiful with the polka dot paper? I LOVE this set!

And here is a view of a cupcake with a 'Mickey' on top.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope that you will be able to join in on the Throwback Thursday Challenge. Make sure to check out Emma's post so you can see what she and the rest of her design team made for this challenge.

GIVEAWAYS! Emma was such a sweetheart and she has donated one of my FAVORITE stamp sets, Polka Dot SURPRISE! One lucky commenter will win this set.

I also have the stamp set 'WOW! So Many Candles' to give away to a different lucky commenter. I'm trying to spread out the goodies so as many people as possible have a chance to win something :).

Choo Choo 1st Birthday

My little great-nephew is celebrating his 1st birthday today. He is such a cutie and he LOVES trains. This card just came to me and I LOVE how it turned out. I hope he likes it too.

I used the following items for this card: The train and monkey came from Create-a-Critter, the #1 candle is from Sweet Treats, the monkey's cute little stamped face is from none other than Peachy Keen Stamps. I mixed parts from two different sets to make the face. I used PK-493 (Everyday Character Face Parts) for the nose and mouth and I used PK-573 (Basic Paper Doll Faces) for the eyes. I also used my Versamarker to highlight the edges, my black marker for some dotting, some stamps for the sentiments and some brads for the train wheels.

Dino Birthday Wishes

One of my many nephew's is having a birthday this week. I decided to make him a dinosaur birthday card.

This is SUPER simple, but I tend to keep cards for boys more basic. The dinosaur is from Paperdoll Dress Up. I used the Cricut markers to draw him and then cut him out. Then I used my Versamarker to color in his tummy and scales on his back and tail. The present is cut from Sweet Treats.

Make a Wish

This is a birthday card for my Mom. She is the ultimate Disney fan and she loves the color red.

I used Sweet Treats for the present shape card, Mickey font for the Mickey icons.  I also used a MSE stamp that says Make a Wish! and my black pen to do some stitching. I'm entering this in Emma's Throwback Thursday. I hope it counts. I do have Celebrations, but I ended up liking the present on Sweet Treats better for this particular card.
