Welcome Baby Banner

If you are looking for the My Creative Time June Release Blog Hop make sure to scroll down to the next post.

Hi sweet Peachy Keen Fans. Today is my day to post on the Peachy Keen Blog and I have a fun little 'welcome home baby' door sized banner to share with you.

Here is the whole banner so you can get an idea of how it looks all together.

And here is a closer shot:

All of the light blue paper was stamped with a background stamp by Peachy Keen Stamps called Grampa's Pajamas. I think it looks so sweet on here. The banner pieces are cut from the Birthday Bash Cricut cartridge and the letters are cut from the Pooh Font Cricut cartridge. I added eyelets and inking to each banner piece. I also added some faux stitching around each letter.

I love how sweet these little babies turned out with their Peachy faces, so I have a closeup of each baby:

The babies are cut from the New Arrival Cricut cartridge and their sweet faces are from the Just Baby Faces Assortment by Peachy Keen Stamps. I chalked the edges and cheeks and added some Glossy Accents to the eyes. The banner is connected with some tricolor Trendy Twine.

I hope you enjoyed this banner and I hope you have a wonderful day. Hugs- Glora

Happy New Year!

I know that I'm a little late, but it is only the 3rd, so Happy New Year. I saw a lot of New Year cards on everyone's blog and I asked my husband what he thought the main theme was. He said, "The Baby New Year." I replied, "No, I didn't see any of those at all." So he suggested that I should make one. Here it is and happy 2011 to all of you.

I attached my Baby New Year to an Action Wobble so he could be partying. Here is a really short video of him dancing, sorry that the card is a little slanted in the video, it was late.

I wanted to submit this project for the Paper Playtime face challenge. It is sponsored by Peachy Keen Stamps. You should definitely join in this super fun challenge for a chance at some amazing Peachy Keen Stamps.

Sugar and Spice

This is a onesie shape card for the soon arrival of a new niece. It isn't quite a standard baby card as far the colors go, but I think they will really like it. They LOVE anything Disney. I made this card for Emma's (My Creative Time's) Throwback Thursday Challenge.

I used the New Arrival Cricut cartridge for the onesie and Mickey and Friends for the Mickey Mouse Icon and Minnie Mouse bow. I also added some tiny eyelets for the snaps at the bottom and neckline of the onesie. I stamped on Sugar and Spice and did some doodling with my black pen and a Sakura white gelly roll pen.

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge 28

I love these challenges so much! I've had my card designed in my Gypsy for almost a week, but the girls got sick and so crafting had to wait. Today everyone is feeling better and so I was able to cut and put together my card. There have been so many cute entries. I always love to see what all the other participants come up with.

Here is the wonderful sketch that we had to work with:

For my card I used the following cartridges: Gypsy font for the scalloped circle, George for the oval, squares & rectangles, New arrival for the bottles and onesie, Stretch Your Imagination for the baby, Everyday Paperdolls for the headband, Plantin Schoolbook and Gypsy Wandering for the scalloped border. Wow that is quite the list isn't it? I used Peachy Keen Stamp set PK-493 Everyday Character Face Parts and PK-573 Basic Paper Doll Faces for the pacifier.

Butterfly Kisses

Well it has been a wonderful Easter weekend with family, Easter celebrations, General Conference and SNOW. Yes, snow... I need a little springtime warmth at the moment, so it is time to share my butterfly shape card. This was a birthday card for my niece that just turned 4.

This butterfly is from the New Arrival cricut cartridge. She is cut in blackout so I could stamp her cute face with my Peachy Keen Stamps (I used PK-495). A happy birthday stamp, some outline doodling, rosey cheeks, a little bling and voila.
