What Time Is It? It's Crafting Time!

I thought I would post a picture of what I made for my family for Christmas 3 years ago. I found some clocks on clearance at Staples and transformed them using: Disney Sandy Lion patterned paper, the Mickey and Friends Cricut Cartridge, the Mickey Mouse font cartridge, my Cricut and some adhesive. I made 9 of these in all - they were a little time consuming, but not too bad considering I cut the pieces for each part at the same time. It definitely made things go much faster.

Voila - a Glora's Crafts original clock - featuring none other but Mickey Mouse!

Magical Memories with Mickey

I just wanted to post a quick scrapbook page that I made with Emma's (My Creative Time's) new summer stamp set Have Fun in the Sun. I really LOVE this set!!! (If you would like to see the LO a little better just click on the picture below and it will zoom in).

Anyway, super simple like I said, but I love how it will look with pictures at Disneyland on it. Here is a close-up of Emma's super cute sentiment on my ticket. I just added a little bit of a Mickey icon to the dots and voila a super cute Disney ticket.

This is a picture of the full set of Emma's Have Fun in the Sun set.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope to see you real soon! Hugs- Glora

Cool Pal!

Snow, snow, rain and snow! We have had lots of rain and snow this week. I think we will definitely be having a white Christmas. I've had this card designed in Design Studio for 2 years and never got around to cutting it. I converted it to a Gypsy file and cut it out today. I like how it turned out, but I am a little Disney crazy. I cut it out using blue, green and brown so it could be part of the My Pink Stamper Color Challenge.

I attached this cute snowman with an ACTION WOBBLE!!!! If you are new to following my site, an Action Wobble is a collapsible spring that brings movement and life to your projects. They have a Facebook page that you can join as well. There are lots of fun projects and some information that has been posted over there. Click HERE to go to the Facebook link.

Here is a short video showing this dancing Mickey Snowman.

George and Basic Shapes
Mickey Font
Paper Doll Dress Up
Gypsy
DCWV patterned paper
Pebbles Inc. Ribbon

You're the Best!

Another Disney card :). I must have Disneyland on my mind... too bad I won't be back there for a few more months. I made this card for three different challenges. I thought that the elements of each challenge would combine nicely... so here it is. (I couldn't get the one bling Mickey to photograph well, so this is the best one I got).

Made by Momo's Tuesday challenge asked for white, black and one other color. Cricut Cardz wanted scallops. And Always Scrappin' Whimsical Wednesday Challenge wanted buttons brads and/or bling.

For this card I used the EK Success Mickey Mouse border punch, Mickey Font for the Mickey head and Mickey Font and George combined with my sweet Gypsy to make the Mickey scallop. I used the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder, some bling, and some string.

Make a Wish

This is a birthday card for my Mom. She is the ultimate Disney fan and she loves the color red.

I used Sweet Treats for the present shape card, Mickey font for the Mickey icons.  I also used a MSE stamp that says Make a Wish! and my black pen to do some stitching. I'm entering this in Emma's Throwback Thursday. I hope it counts. I do have Celebrations, but I ended up liking the present on Sweet Treats better for this particular card.

Mickey Mouse Icon Window Card

This is a fun and simple window card.

I used the Mickey Font cartridge for the Mickey Mouse icon. I cut a circle from George and Basic shapes and then I used my Cuttlebug to emboss Happy Birthday in the middle of the card. I used a sponge and some pink ink for the happy birthday circle. This is a picture of the card when it is open.

I used the extra brown piece from the window card to make a seal for the envelope.

Peachy Keen Stamps - Challenge 32

The subject for this challenge was summer destinations. Our FAVORITE summer destination is DISNEYLAND. We had a fabulous time at Disneyland last month. This project will be the introductory page for our Disneyland vacation scrapbook.

I love how this turned out. I tried to give us all our actual look and I think it worked out well. Here is a close up of the paperdolls with their cute Peachy Keen Stamps faces.

For this project I used:
Peachy Keen Stamps - Simple Sallies for the girl faces
Peachy Keen Stamps - Basic Paper Doll Faces for the boys face
Everyday Paperdolls - for the dolls and their clothing
Mickey font - for the Mickey icons
Mickey and Friends - for Minnie's bow
Once Upon a Princess- for the castle
Gypsy Font- for Magical Memories
Rhinestones
White gel pen, black pen & Versamark watermark pen

Disney Birthday Wishes

This is a simple birthday card with a subtle Disney theme to it. My whole family loves Disney so I figure this card will work well for any upcoming birthday. I hope you like it too.

Happy Birthday is from Lyrical letters, the scallop is from Plantin Schoolbook, the Mickey icons are from Mickey Font. I added a little white dotting, some ribbon and a little bling. Did you notice the hidden Mickey I made from rhinestones? Have a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious day!

Magical Memories Frame

I wanted to make my daughter's dance teacher a thank you gift for a wonderful year of dance lessons. Her dance teacher loves Disney frames so this is what I came up with.

I used George for the rectangles and Mickey Font for the Mickey icons and letters. The mat is all one piece welded together on the Gypsy. I threw in a random picture of Goofy from a Disneyland calendar, she can replace it with a family picture later. I also added some white dots with my Sakura gel pen.

Mickey Mouse Lollipop Holder

Emma over at My Creative Time makes the cutest little lollipop holders and inspired me to make one. If you know me I am a total Disney nut so I made a Mickey Mouse lollipop holder. Emma has a great video on how to make one with your Gypsy. Just click on this link to see it (the lollipop holder is the first video listed in this post, but all of her videos are awesome, so enjoy).
I used George & Basic Shapes and Mickey Mouse font cartridges for this project. Next time I will probably make a Minnie Mouse one so I can add a cute little red and white polka dot bow.

Teacher Appreciation

I am my daughter's room mom at school and was asked to decorate her teacher's door for teacher appreciation week. We put the door up last Friday, but this weekend has been crazy busy so I am finally getting around to posting this.

This idea actually evolved around something the teacher has done all year. She has a Build a Bear puppy dog that each child gets to take home for a weekend. The dog is called "Lucky Pup" and then that child is the lucky pup for the week. They get to bring their favorite book, a poster about themselves and an estimation jar full of goodies to share during their special week. It has been a real hit and so it was the inspiration for her door decoration.

I designed everything in my WONDERFUL Gypsy. I used the Mickey Font for the words and Everyday Paperdolls for the dog house, puppies and grass. I used my Cricut markers with my Gypsy for the first time and they worked GREAT. I just loaded the mat and had it cut (draw) them with the marker, then without unloading my mat I went back to my project and cut them. It definitely saved me some time from having to hand draw or shade in the puppy accents.

Mickey Icon Birthday Card

This card was fun. I love Disney and this added a subtle Disney touch.

I used Gypsy Wanderings for the Happy Birthday and Plantin Schoolbook and Disney font for the scalloped Mickey border. I used ribbon from my collection as well as a prima flower and a couple of rhinestones. Have a great day!

Happy Easter!

This is a simple tri fold card that I made my parents for Easter.

This is the outside of the tri-fold

You lift the flap and this is what you see and then I left the inside empty so we can all add a little Easter message.
The paper is coordinations, the Cricut cartridges used are Stamped (Happy/tag), Designer's Calendar (Easter), George (rectangles), Doodlecharms (egg), and Mickey Mouse font (MM icon). The dotted scallop edge is a fiskars edge punch. I hope you all have an amazing Easter.
