These first few pictures were taken right after we got back from California. To keep Alivia from eating off of Ammon's tray I put some rice crispies down on a plate for her to munch on. Apparently it was too time consuming to eat them one at time so she decided just to stick her face in it and eat them with her mouth.
Tatum and Sam have a beautiful home with a fun swimming pool. We enjoyed taking a dip each night and Ammon actually loved jumping off the side over and over and over and over again.
This was at 11:30 p.m. at Disneyland. Ammon was so tired. We decided to get him a toy for the ride home. He liked that idea and decided to just sit down right on the floor in the gift shop and open the toys before we even bought them. He wasn't too happy when we had to hand them to the cashier first.
Alivia girl was such a trooper and actually fell asleep shortly after this while we were waiting in line for the Finding Nemo submarine, which by the way was awesome!
Ammon and Daddy got to go on the Autopia ride and drive a car. Alivia was too small so we waited on the side lines.
Tatum was so brave and took Alivia and Ammon on the carousel while Darren and I rode the 'screamer' (my favorite for the day). I believe she was worn out after one ride. I don't blame her. She was such a trooper for chillin with us most of the day. Ammon loved the carousel (as you can see below he rode it several times). Every time Ammon got of the carousel he would say 'more, more'.
This is the first time I could get Alivia to wear her glasses for more than 5 seconds. I think she was showing off for Sam. What a cutie!
Ammon was freezing in his wet clothes at the beach so we took them off and put Daddy's shirt on him. He was strutting around like he was the coolest boy on the beach. It was so stinking cute!
Wow I'm a whitie! The beach was beautiful and we enjoyed such a fun day in the water. Darren did some boogie boarding and I even tried a few waves. It was super fun!
Alivia ate all the sand she could get her hands on. She loved the beach! I didn't hear one peep out of her the whole day. She was all smiles with sand in her mouth constantly.
Ammon loved chasing the seagulls and throwing sand in the water. Eventually he warmed up to the idea of getting in the water and giggled lots and lots.
It was a perfect day!
Darren driving and driving and driving! We got up at 3:30 a.m. to go to California and to go home. We were exhausted after our trip was over. He was such a trooper for driving both ways almost the entire time!
The kids were great in the car. We had a few moments of brake downs but for the most part they did great and kept each other entertained. I would give Ammon a toy and when he was done with it he would throw it at Alivia and she would play with it until another toy came her way.
Thanks Tatum and Sam for having us! We enjoyed each moment and can't wait to come visit again soon! Miss you already!

Summer Reunion
Had a great time at the Stinger Reunion. Unfortunately I don't have any of the hilarious group pictures that we took but here are some from our nature walk and one of Grandma playing her harmonica. The lodge was gorgeous and the mountains were so beautiful! We did some great hikes, enjoyed looking at the stars, fun with a pinata and lots of food, games and socializing. It turned out great and was so fun to see everyone.
Here is the awesome pinata that I made. Isn't it cute! It made it all the way through all the kids beating it HARD and some of them got to go twice. The rope broke before the pinata did.
Tanya, Tessa, Ammon, me and Alivia and Dad enjoying Twin Lakes. It was a good hike up there. Darren carried the stroller most of the way because of all the big boulders.
Ryan, Tanya and Calvin enjoying their hike.
Tessita, Ammon and mom on the nature walk. Mom had paper sacks for all the kids to pick up fun things and then they made a collage with all their findings. It was fun to learn about wild strawberries and other beautiful things in nature. Mom is so knowledgeable when it comes to flowers and plants.
Grandma playing her harmonica. It was just as beautiful as I remember!
