Merry Christmas to Darren
Auntie Tessita
Traditions
Every Christmas Eve we open one present. Since we weren't going to be at mom and dad's for Christmas we got to open a present on the 21st. Mom gave all the girls sun glasses from Mama Mia and then we watched the show. Usually we watch White Christmas but Tanya hadn't seen Mama Mia. We always make mom's famous sugar cookies and we made a ginger bread house as well. We never got around to decorating the cookies but the house sure looks good! Notice the lady in charge of the house with a very large hay pick! When we got home (after being delayed from the pass being closed) we went to the annual Johnson Christmas eve party. Darren looks forward to eating the beer marinated turkey all year long. I have to say that it is VERY delicious. Ammon was santa AND baby Jesus. We couldn't be prouder parents. He looked so adorable!

Washington here we come.
Ammon and I left for a week to move Josh and Krista up to Washington. We were so excited to see Grandmi mi and Grandpa Goodall. We are having so much fun playing with the babies. Tanya and Calvin and Tessa got here Friday night and we're having so much fun with Calvin, Jaylie and Ammon. We went to mom and dad's ward Christmas party tonight and all the babies sat on Santa's lap. I will post pictures when I get home. We are missing daddy and excited to come home but we will miss mimi and papa. It is gorgeous, snowy and cold here but we have a beautiful cozy home to stay in.

Snuggles
I'm just snuggling with my precious baby Ammon. He loves to sleep in my arms so I don't get a lot done when he's napping. He'll sleep in the rocking chair but it is out of batteries. I'm trying to atleast read up on everyone's blog while I'm just sitting here holding him. We had a bunch of people over for homemade pizza (thanks to Chris) last night and so my computer is on the floor and I'm typing with one hand. I love being a mommy though. It is so rewarding!

Christmas is here!
Christmas is my favorite holiday. I look forward to it all year. I just love the music and the spirit of giving. Ever since I was young I get so excited on Christmas Eve and I can never sleep. Darren called me from work yesterday and suggested we decorate for Christmas for family home evening. I was so excited. He loves to put the tree up and help me decorate. It's such a fun family acitivity. Ammon loves the lights and sparkling ornaments.
Cloth Diapers
So, I've been looking at the possiblity of using cloth diapers. There are a lot of pros and cons of both cloth and disposable. I bought 2 cute cloth diapers from a lady in Spanish Fork to try them out and I've just been using them along with disposable ones. I really like them for now but we'll see when he starts eating solid foods. Isn't he so cute in them!? I guess this is my way of saving the planet 4 diapers a day.
Ammon has been scratching himself a lot. I have to cut his fingernails every day in order to keep him from hurting his eye. In one of the pictures you can see 5 scratches on his face. He got these all in one night from ONE stinking finger nail that was a bit too long. I felt really bad.

Arizona
We had an awesome time in Arizona for the Teambuilders function. I loved Arizona in the winter. The weather was perfect and the cacti were so cool. We went swimming even though the pool and hot tub were a bit chilly outside. We had a blast!!! The babies were SO good! They didn't fuss at all during the entire trip. 12 hours down and 12 hours back.
Our leaders were amazing and we learned so much during the function. We are so excited to move forward. Brett Deimler spoke to us. He was hilarious and very inspirational. I am so grateful for Teambuilders and the blessing that it has been in our life. We don't know what we would do without it! Thanks Ledbetters, Bennetts, Hunters and Josh and Krista for never giving up on us and for inspiring us to be the best we can be! *

Our fabulous leaders have made such a difference in our life! We love them and appreciate all that they sacrafice for us!
The brand new ferrari was so beautiful! Darren took tons of pictures of it.
I thought these mountains were so cool. They are so different from the Mountains in Utah. We stopped at a little shack and looked at the Indian jewelry on the way. It was very beautiful!

I have Two Little Hands
Ammon is learning that he has two hands that are attached to his body. He constantly stares at his right hand. I don't know if he realizes he has a left one yet, but he's starting to grab things more and play with his own hands.
He's also been seeing things better. I can tell that he sees his toys in front of his face now where as before he never focused on them. It has been so fun seeing him learn something new every day.
Ammon is starting to laugh and smile a lot more. Darren gets him to laugh all the time. When he comes home from work he'll sit down and talk to him for about and hour and he laughs the whole time. It's so cute! Then he'll get hungry and start whaleing but other than that he's always a happy baby.
I'm posting some picture of Grandma and Grandpa Stone that we took a few weeks ago:

Slide Shows
If you haven't noticed I've been having fun playing with the slide shows. These are a lot of fun to do. I haven't posted anything for awhile and it has been a busy few weeks so I've added quite a bit today.
Baby Blessing
My family came down from Washington for the blessing of Ammon and Jaylie. It was a wonderful weekend. We got to spend a little time with Calvin and Tanya. We haven't seen them since June and Calvin is growing so fast. The time went by too quickly and there was so much to do but we all had a wonderful time.
The blessing on Sunday, October 12th was wonderful. We had a full house (about 90 people)in the relief society room at Josh and Krista's church building. Ammon was screaming the whole time. We don't think he likes big crowds because he was sweating and shaking and very upset. He's usually not like that at all.
After the blessing everyone ate all the yummy food. Chris's homemade bread was gone instantly and the potatoe and vegetable soup was delicious. The fresh veggies and homemade cobbler was excellant. In fact the cobbler was all gobbled up before I could get any. I heard it was excellant though.
Thanks to everyone that participated and came to celebrate the blessing of two precious children of God. It was so wonderful to have such great support.

Change of Plans!!!!
We aren't having the blessing at the Warnick residence any more because there are too many people coming. We would be packed in like sardines. So, we have changed the location to the church right by Josh and Krista's. The address is 1541 North 1300 West. It will be in the relief society room and the time still remains at 4 p.m. Thanks for your patients. We're excited to see everyone there. Come eat some yummy food too!

I'm terrible at thinking of things about myself so I'll have Darren help me out:
1. I have an armpit fetish. I would have never thought of this but Darren thinks it's funny that I smell my armpits when I think I stink. I just want to make sure it's me... and it usually is.
2. I love cleaning my house when I'm mad or want to feel better. I just hate living in clutter and because I live in a two bedroom apartment it seems to clutter up really fast!
3. I love laughing at jokes (clean ones of course) but I could never tell one if I tried. I always forget the punch line. I leave the joke telling to Josh.
4. When Darren and I are the only ones in the car and he asks me a question I never fail to say: "Who me?" I never knew I did this until Darren pointed it out by laughing hysterically every time I did it.
5. I can't make it more than 20 minutes in the car before falling asleep. I work 30 minutes away and HAVE to listen to a CD in order to keep me awake. I can't listen to music because I just block it out so I listen to the Lennan station and he keeps me alert. When we drive to Washington I drive about 40 minutes total and Darren drives the rest of the way.
6. I always complain about having a broken out face but I hate washing it twice a day or doing masks. I always wash at night but I feel like it's pointless in the morning when all I've been doing is sleeping.

Baby Blessing
We are having Ammon blessed on Sunday October 12th @ 4 :00. The address is 174 South 600 East in Alpine. We'd love to see you all there. This is at Krita Goodall's mom's house and refreshments will be served.
Song Artists
So if you have any suggestions on Song Titles or Artists for me to include on my blog, let me know by leaving a comment. I couldn't believe that Darren and I couldn't think of any when we were adding songs to our playlist. Actually I wasn't too suprised because I know a lot of songs but don't know the titles or artists. Let me know your favorite songs and I'll add them to the list.
