JB Super Hero Stamp Set Sneak Day 1 AND Mickey and Friends Monday

Hi Everybody!
I have a special Mickey and Friends Monday post today..........

It's also a sneak peek of a new stamp set that will be released THIS THURSDAY from Jaded Blossom!!

The theme of the set is Super Hero, so this will be one that goes so perfectly with a ton of character images.  Here is the project I made:

*Superman Cricut cartridge - Superman head cut @ 4"
*Happy Hauntings Cricut cartridge - frame cut @ 7 1/2"
*Jaded Blossom - Superhero stamp set (sentiment),
Flag Dies (flags), Sport Kisses (star circles)
*DCWV - patterned paper

*I thought this was the perfect sentiment to put with this picture of my husband and son.  (We have 3 girls too, so this little guy is extra spoiled!)

*I LOVE this frame cut from the Happy Hauntings cartridge.  I forgot to take a side view picture though :(

*This Superman was very easy to put together.  He's only a few layers: base (black), blue hair highlights, skin, glasses and eyes.  Even the eyes weren't too bad at this size!

*These circles from the Sport Kisses made the perfect accents :O)

Taaa daaaa!  I hope you like it :O)

Some other Jaded Blossom design team members have some sneaks for you too!

Cricut Cardz Challenge #60

Hi Everybody!
Whooo-hoooo! It's time for the next Cricut Cardz Challenge!  I absolutely love being on this design team, because I am challenged to make cards that I wouldn't normally make.  So this week was to make a (gasp!) MAN'S Valentine card.  Man cards always require a little thought.  So I thought what kind of card would be good for my husband??  I thought right away of the Superman cartridge.  Of course my man drives me bananas sometimes, but whenever I'm goin' crazy, or I need something fixed, or I want to snuggle up to something warm he is there.  I love him, and I am smart enough to know that he has to be Superman to put up with me and all my craziness!!  So here is what I came up with this week:

*Superman cartridge
*superman symbol and layer cut @ 3.43"
*the yellow actually cuts out in pieces. Instead I copied the symbol again, and used my Gypsy to hide countour so that it cut out as one diamond shape.  Much easier than gluing all those pieces!!
*card base cut @ 4.25"
*Pink By Design stamps sets= Fly Away With Me (Stamp of the Month), Oh Boy!, and Love Always
*white gel pen
*paper from my stash
*I used an Action Wobble to give my action hero some movement!

*I purposly cut the card base bigger than the symbol to give me space to stamp a sentiment.

*I manipulated, and masked different stamps to get the saying I wanted for this card.  The real stamp says "Of course you can fly, for dreams have wings (Stamp of the Month).
*I took the kisses from the "hugs and kisses" stamp (Love Always) to replace the word dreams.  With the stamps being see through, it makes this process very easy!

*This one is from the Oh Boy set.  Perfect for Superman!!
*I drew the hearts with my white gel pen, and also added some doodling :O)

That's it!  What did you think??  I was really happy with it :o)  Now head on over to the CCC to see what amazing creations the other designers have for you, and then enter the challenge!!  Thanks, and hope everyone has a chance to craft today!
