Guest Designer for Liz's Paperloft!!

Hi Everybody!
I am SO SUPER EXCITED to be a guest designer for Liz from Liz's Paperloft, and help keep you guys from going through crafty withdrawals while her new bionic shoulder heals (ok, maybe not exactly a bionic shoulder....)!  Today I have a card using one of my favorite crafty supplies, clear craft plastic.  Here are the details:

*Create a Critter Cricut cartridge = panda and all layers
*My Creative Time = Game Night Stamp Set, I Believe in Leprechauns Stamp Set
*Timeless Twine = Olive Green
*clear craft plastic

*I love the dimension this plastic can give to a card!

*The secret to this kind of card is just to cut extra base layers.  That way you can cover any adhesive you need to use.

*I put an extra layer here, and the panda so that there is room to write a message on the inside.

*This is from the I Believe in Leprechauns Stamp Set.

*This is from the Game Night Stamp Set.

What friend wouldn't feel "lucky" to get this card??  I'd like to thank you so much Liz for having me as a guest designer!!  But wait.....one more thing.....

Liz has some exciting news to share with you, but not quite yet. However, in the meantime, while she's recovering, she is reading every comment! Not only is she reading them, she's counting them, because at the end of all this, she will have two announcements! The first will be a winner of some exciting BLOG CANDY! The second, it's a big one...and no, she's not coming out with stamps...you just have to wait and see!

TFL, and hope everyone has a chance to craft today!!

Roberts Arts & Crafts Design Team Project - Twist Easel Card

Hi Everybody!
Happily it's my turn to share my next project with you for the Robert's Art's and Crafts Design Team!  I decided to try a new fold for me, a twist easel card.  (I found the tutorial HERE.)  This was my very first attempt, and I can't believe how easy it was!  The hardest part was deciding how to embellish it!  Here are the supplies you'll need to create this card:

*Create a Critter Cricut cartridge
*Cosmo Cricket patterned paper
*DCWV shimmer paper
*twine
*brown ink to distress edges
*edge punch
*sentiment stamp (I used Pink By Design)

That's all there is to it!  I hope you like it, and try one of these for yourself. I'd love for you to leave a comment letting me know what you think. Be sure to keep checking back here, and on the Roberts blog for TONS of inspiration. See ya next time :)

Mickey And Friends Monday

Hi Everybody!
Whooo hoooo, it's Monday!! Wait, did I just say that?  But I actually found a reason to be happy about Mondays! Because that means it's time for Mickey and Friend Mondays!!! Do you like the new button?  Thank you to my friend Cheryl Gaffney for making this for me :oD  I'd love for you to grab it from my sidebar and post it on your blogs.  Let's spread the Disney Magic!

Today my guest designer is my FB friend and Cooking With Cricut design team sister Jennifer Hudson.  Check out her beautiful project, and please click on her name to head to her blog for more great pictures :)

I used Pooh & Friends for Pooh and Piglet, and Create-A-Critter for the title.

What a great card!  And I love how she used patterned paper for the background instead of a solid color.  Thank you Jennifer!   I hope it inspires you to try some Disney cuts for yourself, they are soooooo worth it! Have a Magical Monday!
