Timeless Twine Design Team Day - Basket Weave Card

Hi Everybody!
I'm excited to be sharing another Timeless Twine design team project with you :O)  All my kids are in school, or napping so I actually have a couple of hours during the day to play!  So I decided to try a weaving technique using the best twine :)  Here are the details:

*Timeless Twine - Kraft, Chocolate Chip, Olive Green, Cherry Red

*Jaded Blossom - Feeling Fruity stamp set (sentiment)

*Preserves Cricut cartridge - strawberries

*Doodlecharms Cricut cartridge - basket

*My Mind's Eye, Stampin' Up! - patterned paper

* Recollections - brown cardstock

*To create the weaving on the basket, I first ran a strip of adhesive down.

*Then I took a few strands of Kraft twine at a time, and created rows.

*Next, I ran another strip of adhesive parallel to the other.

*I took a few strands of Chocolate Chip twine at a time and weaved them through the Kraft twine going over, under, over, under, etc. (I think I'm still saying it in my head!).

*For the strawberries, I put adhesive on both sides of the strawberry cut and wrapped some Cherry Red twine around it.

*I used Olive Green twine for the "stems".

*Had the perfect coordinating sentiment!

*I had enough scraps to also finish the inside :O)

Timeless Twine August Challenge

Hi Everybody!

It's time for another Timeless Twine Challenge! This time the challenge is:

summer foods and scallops! 

We love all kinds of foods during the summer, but it's really summer season when we start breaking out the fruit!  Pineapple, strawberries, and cherries are a few of our favorites.....yummy!!!  Here is my challenge project:

*Timeless Twine - Olive Green, Lemonade, Pumpkin Orange

*Nate's ABC's Cricut cartridge - pineapple fruit group

*Life's A Beach Cricut cartridge - sandcastle, beach ball

*Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge - starburst shape

*Jaded Blossom - Feeling Fruity stamp set (strawberries, and sentiments)

*Peachy Keen Stamps - Princess Face Assortment, The Cornies, Cherub Faces

*Although it's been quite a while since we've had anybody on formula at our house, we saved all the formula cans!  They are perfect for centerpieces!!

*I just took some 12" x 24 paper, cut it into strips, and wrapped it around the can.

*To keep with the summer theme, I filled it with play sand to weigh it down.

*Summer also means the beach for us, so I threw in a couple of summer cuts on our summer centerpiece :O)

Jaded Blossom Stamp Release Week - Feeling Fruity

Hi Everybody!

It's time for Jaded Blossom Stamp Release Week !! This release is a little bit different.  This time you get to see a stamp set each day that will be released on Friday. So lets start with Feeling Fruity!  Here's the project that I made:

*The stamp is from the new set Feeling Fruity and is being released this Friday!

*The treat box is also being released this Friday!

*This is a fun way to dress up a healthy snack. I put some raisins in one of the new treat boxes, and then wrapped some Timeless Twine around it.

*I got the picture online, and cut the tag using my Nestabilities.

*Add the perfect stamp from JB and this tag is done!
