Operation Superman Charity Blog Hop

Hi Everybody!
Welcome to the "Operation Superman Charity Blog Hop" hosted by Sandra http://365daysofcricut.blogspot.com/. Sandra is hosting this hop to gather gifts to donate for a family who lost their father and also to someone who lost her husband.  Hopefully you just came from Zeni over at http://www.scrappyzeni.com/. If not, head back over to Sandra to start from the beginning.

We are all making gifts and or Christmas cards to donate to the family, this is their first Christmas they are spending together without their dad whom everyone called "Superman". Seko "Superman" died tragically of heart failure in front of his wife and 4 young kids. We are hoping to spread some holiday cheer to this family in need.

*Recollections - all solid cardstock
*Superman image from the internet

*I created this card using an image I found on the internet.

*This card is also a present!  I printed the image onto some SQUARE 1 inkjet printable media
*Now after the family looks at the card, they can just peel the image from the backing sheet and stick it onto any surface.  A little reminder of their husband and dad who was their Superman.

*Here's a peek at the inside where I'll write a special message to the family.

Giveaway Time!
KaDoodle Bug Designs is sponsoring the hop with a $20 gift certificate to their store at http://www.kadoodlebugdesigns.com/

Here is what I created to share today:

*All images found on the internet.

*When I saw this soap pump, I thought it would be fun to decorate it for Halloween!  It was smooth, and the green was a perfect color for Halloween and Christmas :O)

*So I found some cute Disney Halloween images online, and taa-daa!

*I printed all of the images on the Square 1 Printable, Adhesive Fabric, and then hand cut them out.

*Vampire Mickey is too cute!

Here's a closer look at the other images:

*Aren't those so super cute?!?!  And I can just peel these off, and save them for next year!

Home Decor Wall Art With Square 1 and a Winner!

Hi Everybody!
First I need to announce the winner of the Back to School Blog Hop.  The winner of the 3x4 inch Clear Bags - Pack of 100 from Jaded Blossom is.........

Congrats!  Please email me at crazyaboutcricut at hotmail dot com with your mailing address to claim your prize :O)

And now I want to share my latest project using Square 1!!  Just a little note about what Square 1 is:

This impressive alternative to vinyl is completely PVC free. It still cuts easy yet after using just once, you will realize how easy and fun it is to use. Square1 Colors and Patterns are a great choice for all of your crafting and decorating ideas. Adhesive is removable and re-positionable.

Although we've been living in our new house for almost a year, I have been suuuuuper slow in decorating it :(  I tend to change my mind a lot when decorating, but since Square 1 is easily removable and reusable, I know that I can change my mind as many times as I want!!

My daughters wanted to have a sign above each of their doors.  They now have this warning before entering their rooms:

*Wild West Cricut cartridge

*Opposites Attract Cricut cartridge
(words welded together with my Gypsy)

*Even though these letters were delicate, I didn't have to use transfer tape to put them on the wall.  You can use transfer tape if you'd like, but it's not a must like it is with vinyl!

I hope you liked my project, and that you will give Square 1 a try.  It is good for more than just home decor.  You can use it on paper, glass, car windows and more!!  Plus it's SO MUCH EASIER! Click on the picture below to head on over to the store and check it out!

TFL, and hope everyone has a chance to craft today :O)

I am also linking this up to the Cut it Up: Anything Goes challenge!
