On the Fringe

Hi all!

The weekend is nearing and boy, am I ready for it! I don't sleep so well when it's this warm indoors, so some mornings this week I sat at my desk with small red eyes, stifling a yawn ;)

Our challenge this week is "Fringe", it could be either paper or fabric but give us some fringes! I decided to stick to paper and thought that a beach scene would be perfect here. Think hula skirts and those parasols's you see everywhere along the coast. Jimmie was such a treat to colour in, great image! The sentiment set is great too, perfect for summery cards. I combined it a a sun stamp to create a little beach scene.

Birthday at the Beach

Hi all,

It's been a little quiet on my blog this last week, I missed a couple of deadlines because I really didn't feel like crafting and was running out of time, I'm sure you all have had such an episode at one point or another. But thankfully my crafty mojo and I am able to share a couple of projects again with you this week. The first one is a male birthday card for the Fab 'n Funky challenge, asking for projects using ANIMALS. Daddy Dearest

Hi all,

After a couple of good days we are now well and truly back to dreadful weather territory. It's just so depressing and  everything is wet and I have to wear my rain suit on my bike and that's all plasticky and sweaty and.....well, you get the picture, I'm not too thrilled about this weather type!

Let's move on to my card today, as that's a lot more cheerful this week. This week, our theme for the Delightful Challenge is "For Dad". As Father's Day is coming up very soon in the Netherlands, this was a perfect opportunity to make a card for the occasion. I'm not quite sure yet whether it's not too cutesy for my dad, but I do love this fish and background digi combo, they look great together!
