Good morning everyone,
Another week is starting, are we ready? Well, to be honest, I could have done with a couple of hours more sleep, but never mind. The Ooh La La Challenge is starting today with the theme "Magnificent Men". Let's celebrate the men in your lives by creating some stunning cards for them! I made my card for my father, who has loved horses all his life. So this image was perfect for him! I started with the image and selected some muted brown, green and pink papers to compliment the lovely image, added some embellishments and voila!
Looking forward to seeing all your lovely projects, we really do love visiting your blogs and gawking at your creative makes :)
Materials:
* Ooh La La Stallion image from Yesterday's Memories CD (my absolute fave!)
* Papermania Birdsong & K&Co Ancestry DPs, distressed with TH distressing tool

Challenges:
* Paper Pretties (Distressing)
* Ruby's Rainbow Challenges (It's a Male Thing)

Christmas Pointsettia
Happy Monday all!
Did you enjoy your weekend? I went to see my parents, due to teaching commitments I hadn't been able to go for quite a while so it was great to catch up and spend some time together.
Today I'm back in crafty mode. It seems all I am making these days are Christmas cards, I am amazed that I still have some new ideas for cards! This time I went with a more vintage-like style, using some Distress Ink and my trusty Distress Tool. The card came together pretty quickly in my head, I had already coloured and glittered the Poinsettia and the rest just came together naturally. Such a shame you can't make out the sparkle in the photo, but it ultrasparkly in real life! I made this card hoping to inspire you to participate in the new challenge over at PCD, themed "Christmas Flowers".
Materials:
* Scalloped base card
* Platypus Creek Digitals Poinsettia, coloured with Promarkers
* Crafter's Companion Iridescent Glitter Spray
* Basic Grey Jovial DP, distressed with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and Distressing Tool
* K&Co Christmas Cheer Tag Pad, distressed with Vintage Photo Distress Ink
* Eline's Winterhuis Stamp Set
* Ribbon & Gems from Stash
As usual, you have two weeks to play along, hope to see you there!
Challenges:
* There She Goes (Tag You're It)
* Crimbo Crackers (Anything Goes)
* Wags 'n Whiskers (Christmas)
* Addicted to Stamps (Christmas)
* Forever Friends (Glitter & Sparkle)
* Lexi's Creations (Christmas)
* My Sheri Crafts (Christmas)
* There's Magic in the Air (Sparkle, Sparkle, Sparkle)
* Sparkles Forum (Christmas is Coming)
* Passion for Promarkers (Distressing)

Distressing Dotty
Good morning everyone!
I can finally say that I've gotten rid of my cold, man that took a long while! So if I didn't manage to visit you and your blog the last few weeks, I'm sorry about that but have really been not feeling my best. I promise to make it up to you though and come and see you all this week ;)
Another week gone means another challenge @ Delightful Challenges: Distressing! In my sample, I've used both paper and ink distressing, but you can do either or both or distress in another way. Just don't get distressed yourself, that would be a waste. And it doesn't count :)
Somehow I really think Kraft card suits a distressed style better than a white base card, I don't know why. Hope you can join us! We are being sponsored by Joanna Sheen once again, offering the winner a 10 pound store voucher!
Materials
* Digital Delights Delightful Dotty set & Just for You Flower sentiment , coloured with Spectrum Noirs and Promarkers
* Kraft base card
* My Mind's Eye Fine and Dandy True Blue DP
* Vintage Photo Distress Ink & TH Distress Tool
* K&Co Roam Tag Pad
* Inside sentiment from Eline's Vintage sentiment stamp set
* Ribbons, gems and brads from my stash
Challenges:
* Bunny Zoe (Distressing)
* Hiding in My Crafroom (Distressing)
* Card & Scrap (Flowers) My sentiment is a flower
* Craft Your Passion (Bingo) I've used Flower (sentiment), Ribbon & Yellow
* Great Impressions (Sentimental Journey)
* Crafty Pad (Autumn Colours) I've used Yellow and Brown
* Crafty Calendar (Browns & Creams) I've also included a tag (optional extra)
* Mark's Finest Papers (Favourite Technique) I've used three of my favourites: using up scraps, paper piecing and distressing (paper and ink)
* Paper Pretties (Use Ribbon)
* A Blog named Hero (Tag You're It)
* Emerald Fairies (Use a Tag)
