Have a Heart

Good morning!

Bright blue skies and mild temperatures, it really doesn't feel like winter in my neck of the woods. It's crazy to think that its February when I look at my rose bush IN BLOOM! Bush totally lost the plot in my opinion. Anyway, we have a new challenge starting today @ Ooh La La, asking for creations "With a Heart". I'm sharing a Christmas card with you, using heart papers and some cut out heart as embellishments. I used this card as my hubs'  Christmas card, I really like the unusual colour scheme en theme. Hope you like it too and are inspired to join our challenge this fortnight!

Christmas with a Heart

Hi everyone!

Already one month has passed in the new year, it all went by in a flash! But it really is February and time for another CCAYR challenge! For this month, the challenge theme is "RED & WHITE, FLOWERS & HEARTS". Yes, another Red & White project for me :) You have the whole month of February to participate, just make sure you adhere to the theme and make it a Christmas project! I've used up another couple of decoupage images that were waiting on my desk being left over from last-minute Christmas card making. They were perfect for the red & white theme!

A Heartfelt Message

Happy Thursday everyone!

Just two more days and my first week back at work is finished, I always find the first week after any time off the hardest. But I seem to have managed :) I'm showing you my inspiration for the Delightful Challenge of this week, themed "Add Hearts". Maybe you are already working on Valentine's projects or you are looking for an opportunity to add to you wedding card stock (like me) or you have a totally original idea with hearts, why not play along and show us? I've gone the wedding route this time, using new releases Wedding Daisy & Dylan and Love is in the Air sentiment set. I seem to be all out of heart papers, so free cut a heart shape from a little scrap I dug up from the scrappy shoe box and used a couple of heart gems I bought off Ebay ages ago. Hope you like it!
