He Has Risen

What a lovely weekend for Easter.  I hope you had a special time with family and friends.  I spent mine laid up due to knee surgery but was inspired to make it into my craft room and make this card to share.

The Easter Cross, from Just For Fun Rubber Stamps, was heat embossed in white on a piece of cardstock and a piece of vellum.  The one on the cardstock was fussy cut and layered behind the one on the vellum.  This was all layered on top of light blue and a white die cut oval window placed over this.  JFF's He Has Risen sentiment was stamped on a piece of vellum and layered across the center and blue pearls added to the corners.

Easter Peeps

Easter is sneaking up on us and two of my favorite candies are in the stores – black jelly beans and bunny Peeps.  How can I help but love the Just For Fun Marshmallow Bunnies images? 

The Bunnies were stamped on different designer papers and fussy cut.  After adding a little shading, these were added to the front of the layered card.

The “happy easter” sentiment from JFF's Sentiments 1 Unmounted Sheet was added above the baby bunnies.

Easter Cross

Today I want to share a card, using one of my favorite Easter stamps from Just For Fun, Easter Cross.

The card background was created with a piece of cream cardstock, die cut and layered on purple.  Gold was added behind the die cut center and pieces of gold and cream were layered on the front center.

The image was stamped with Rich Cocoa Memento Ink on cream cardstock.  After coloring with Copic Markers, it was fussy cut and centered on the card front.

Just For Fun April Monthly Challenge

Where did March go?  It just flew by and today is April 1^st and time for a new challenge at Just For Fun Rubber Stamps blog.  The theme for April is Springtime/Easter.  Here is my card using Just For Fun stamps.

I started this card by creating a watercolor background, using Kuretake Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.  These same markers were used to add color directly to the rubber of the Wildflowers stamp, spritzed lightly with water and stamped on the background.

The Love U Bunnies were stamped with Memento Ink and colored with the Zig markers.  They were fussy cut and added among layers of grass created with a Martha Stewart border punch and watercolored.  The Jelly Bean was colored and stamped numerous times, cut out, and placed in the grass.  Smell Jelly Beans? was used for the sentiment.

Jelly Beans and Coffee?

This is a sneak peak of an upcoming challenge but I made a few fun adjustments to this card for the 2017 Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

I used Love U Bunnies, Smell Jelly Beans?, and Jelly Bean stamps from Just ForFun.  Then I adjusted the sentiment using parts of Coffee Shared and added some coffee beans using Single Coffee Bean, also from JFF.
