"I am a big fan of Dragon Age: Origins and Morrigan is my favorite character. I decided to finally be her for Halloween 2012. My goal was to merge concept art Morrigan with game Morrigan and come out with a recognizable piece somewhere between the two. I had to rush in the midst of vacation drama to get the costume done on time for Halloween, and no time for adjustments before these shoots - there are definitely a few things I would have done differently but I’m still happy. This is 100% a fan piece."
"So I finally got around to doing a proper photoshoot with this costume! And it was amazing. I've been putting this shoot off for months for lack of a proper/inspiring location but finally I found it. The design is from the mage origin art done by Jason Chan, you can see all the pictures here."
"Top: Sewn from scratch by me out of high quality upholstery pleather, when seen up close the fabric looks like scales. I hand hot glued every single one of the studs in a 12 hour stretch on a Saturday. Has corset style lacing in the back, so I could adjust it as I gained or lost weight before con."
"My second Convention cosplaying as Fenris! A lot of improvements were made from Metrocon, specifically the lyrium tattoos and make-up."
"My Lady Hawke Cosplay. I made it for Anime Boston. I still got more to do to the costume but this is what I could whip up before the convention. I am currently busy with a project for my finals for college and getting my work into film festivals. So this year was tough making a costume in time for a convention, but it was worth it and being Lady Hawke from Dragon Age 2 was simply AMAZING!! She is my favorite character in the bioware series and just truly captures everything I love about a strong woman. She is tough but beautiful. I love Hawke."
"I did my first version based on the concept art. Now that the game is out, I added and changed up a lot on her. Belts, armor details, makeup, pants, made the headpiece fit better, etc etc. Oh, yes, I used the staff in a few pictures of the game version of this, even though it's really only shown in the concept art and not the game. And that's because I loved that staff, and felt like it!
Oh Flemeth...she's the hottest murderous old dragon bitch out there. I love her so much."
