Chess Mania
Jonas won the chess tournament at his Cub Scout Pack Meeting. He loves to play chess! We have had several games this week. Last Saturday I played 4 mind numbing games with him... I was "chessed" out - now for a new week of tournaments! All the kids love to play with him and against each other in various ways. Micah likes to make up his own rules. Evelyn just plays without a board. We now have a chess set permanently set up for play, and several pieces randomly scattered through the house!

What fun! I'm so glad to read the news and see pictures of your beautiful family! Glad you and Kiersten are blogging. Our Jonathan has been in Taiwan for 2 1/2 weeks and is already loving his missionary work. We have a blog with his exciting letters, so click on it from Melanie's blog and you can hear about him...how his new bike was stolen within the first day...
Congratulations to Jonas! Noah and Dallin love chess too, they are both in the chess club at school. It sounds like everyone at your school is in the chess club :)
