When having dinner in a restaurant last week I noticed outside on the terrace a group of girls all wearing a pink crown.
Later on they came inside to have dinner and celebrate their "hen party" just in front of me. I asked hubby to lean a bit aside and made a sneeky photo The bride to be was the one without a crown.
The restaurant in Amsterdam where we had diner with Bob Crowe was situated in a former department store that had to close a few month ago. On the fourth floor a so called pop-up restaurant has arrived. It is temporarily as long as the building doesn't have a new owner. They decorated it very special with all kind of murals around.
Hubby "sccollections" photograped the decorations in the "Loo" department. So have a look at his blog for some very funny ones. Linking to "Monday Murals"
Here we had diner last night in a greenhouse in Park Frankendael in Amsterdam.
This is the interior.
A reflection in the ceiling.
There is a greenhouse next to the restaurant where the chefs pick their fresh products for the meals.
Take a look at the link of their website "De Kas" with an explanation.
And here we are, the photos are made by "sccollections" exept this one by my daughter who celebrated her birthday with us.
This small house in Amsterdam cought my eye, above the door the green capitals say "Restaurant the Green Lantarn". A restaurant??? Where to put your guests? I googled it and they advertise with "the worlds most narrow restaurant in the city center of Amsterdam with room for 40! guests on two floors". Well maybe I'll have a look inside some day, in the meantime you can have a look inside here on their website.
This mural is painted on the walls of an Italian restaurant in our neighbourhood of Almere Haven, named Pulcinella, the tragic-comic clown from Naples. The food is very good and we have had diner here many times.
When I retired I had a farewell-diner with my colleagues in this intimate reataurant.
