Patatje

Most countries have their own snack you can buy in the street. In the Netherlands it is "het Patatje" or the "French fries" in english. You buy it in a paper cone with or without a sauce on top.
At the Unseen Photo Fair they sold biological fried "Patatjes".

Many couldn't resist a break with the snack and neither did we. I always like the traditional one  "Patatje mayo" (with mayonnaise) yummy!

Unseen 2015

The entrance to the "Unseen Photo Fair Amsterdam" was this year rather unusual.

Inside a former gas holder many Galleries exposed their photos.

Looking up into the gas holder with a little terrace.

Inspiring photo's.

And people.

A view from above.

Unseen, photography fair

In the Westerpark in Amsterdam we had this weekend a photography fair with the best that contemporary photography has to offer. Galleries from all over the world exposed their photos in a former gasworks building. Outside you already got an impression with photo displays.

Inside the gasworks we watched hundreds of beautiful photos.

In another hangar was a huge exhibtion of portraits of the public who had visited the days before.

It was funny to watch all the portraits.

The weather was exeptional warm for this time of the year, 20 degrees C (68F).
