I hope you are not already bored to death from my whimsical muse. But lately, being banned from my computer, I sketched and what you see here it coloring these sketches. I guess with christmas only days away we all enjoy the whimsical time of the year.....:)

Loving the art of Mindy Lacefield I tried to follow her my way (ok, colouring has to be practised)

And organizing my craft space further - the only real good thing about limited access to my PC (I hope next week with a bigger WLAN and an WLAN enforcer I do not have to share my desk any longer....) I played a little with my new carabella stamps and one of those many backgrounds. The frames were a left over of a TH sticker sheet after all the stickers were gone and I thought it to be the perfect recycling :)

No rhyme or reason just having stamping fun.

No, sorry, no background use today, but more Pam Carriker stencil use this time. To be completly honest, I wanted to do a female face. But not having a rubber at hand while shading I made just the mistake Pam warns about - and there was the mustache.
But hey, there are worse things than unintentionally painting a man and here we go (I´m not totally sure if I liked the shading with a pencil better than with my Derwents - but done is done)

This time I finally took the time to start a first try with my Pam Carriker face stencil - shading is really not that simple and even harder on a coloured background...but with so many backgrounds left - LOL

After Bad Aibling I have rediscovered my love to the Gelli Plate and Linoleum colours. And having much too many backgrounds right now it´s time to use them....
So I went a little bit crazy and surrealistic with cherry pie, G45, and zetti.

Hi my dear friends,

as I am still a little bit behind I am sharing 3 pages today I crafted in the last 3 weeks

just playing with a new stencil

another new face stencil  but unfortunately a very true quote. Only very few of you know that I have been diagnosed with a very annoying autoimmun infection and I am still fighting sometimes to accept the limitations that come with it. And yes, sometimes my head means he is wiser than my body...but my body is one hell of stubborn :)

Travelling journal 2014 USA

I love to keep a traveling journal, sharing a page each day with my daughter, each of us writing down what was important for each of us.
And as the USA was very hot I also found time to sketch, paint and stamp.

Using all kinds of colours I had to remember the hard way that almost no pen works when you have used crayons - melted or not - so I´m sorry when I give you a hard time reading the quote on my page. So here it is in a more readable form:
