I'm a pessimist.. maybe? Especially when it comes to certain matters such as interpersonal relationships.. i tend to think that in the end, everyone is an individual.. we may be part of a network of friends or organisation. But, to simplify things, we are part of a particular network of friends, a particular group and etc, because we just happens to be there by circumstances..
People are closer to one another for a particular phase of their lives because their paths, at that time, happen to cross and even if there are no common interests or topics, the very fact that they share something in daily, boring monotonous life links them together and the topic will be thoroughly expounded on. And after that, there seems to be nothing left between them to talk about and tt's when the phase of "friends drifting away from one another" occurs..
yea yea, pessimist jessica is in the house.. wadever", But seriously, isnt the above theory true? Forever friends sound nice.. i dun deny some friends are long-lasting.. those tt u can see once a year and u are still close.. while some others may start to drift apart when everyone gets busier.. I have both types of friends, so i'm not a loner! Hahaz, making sense here? tt's interpersonal relationships man!
Everytime i think of the different kinds of people in my life, it's easier to form an analogy.. sounds cheesy so i wont say but it's a good analogy",
Family, friends, acquaintances... ah! acquaintances, i often wonder y i dun remember the faces of many people.. and i dun usually save the numbers of people until it's absolutely necessary.. a defense mechanism? I prefer to keep my circle of friends small and nice.. those tt i can keep for long.. talking about survival of the fittest, to me, those considered to be in tt circle (YES NO DONUT OF TRUST!) are few.. so maybe my face recognition disability is just a psychological prob.
till then..
