back from the trip and have a lot to say.... dunnoe where to start. To start off, i've realised that kids here are so fortunate..... well, that's true cos the kids in cambodia are veri independent and are often left on their own to find food. stayed in the village, Baray, for 9 days and painted for about 5 days..... got quite sianz after a few days that a few of us just slacked around and enjoy the slow pace in the village. the scenery in the village was beautiful with the stretches of padi fields and sky that's often tinged blue and pink", At night, the sky was embedded with a lot of stars shining and the place will be faintly lit with the star light.... the first night was unbearable cos it was filled with stupid noises like the jukebox playing all kinds of songs, dogs howling and chickens crowing..... haha, quite dumb and was tortured thruout the night. the food in the village is like chinese fare but i ended up eating rice with veggies almost everyday cos the soup was bad. Visited Angkor Wat, one of the ancient 7 wonders of the world. took a freaking 4 plus hours to the place from Baray which is in Siem Reap. There are quite a lot of small temples in the Angkor Complex and was quite fascinated that the temples are all about 100 years old, carved out from several boulders of stones put together like a jigsaw puzzle. Climbed the steps to one of the temples which is about 2 storeys high and the steps were very steep.... come to think of it, i was very lucky not to have fallen from the steps", was very tired and was glad to head back to the capital Phnom Penh..... but tan sprang a surprise on me and lolly and left us shocked for 4 days after that, dun wish to elaborate cos it's over le", visited a few orphanages and hostels plus some universities..... learnt a lot from them and found that the goals of teenagers here and dere are so different..... yupz, realised that the education system here is not as bad as i thot it was, at least we are given a chance to study and under quite gd conditions compared to in Cambodia", Shopped a lot and bot quite a few handicrafts for my family", was super broke after that, tan and lolly as well cos we kept buying things..... went to the Russian market place and the central market and i've learn the art of bargaining..... we were ridiculous in pushing the prices down but well, it was fun", yupz, came back today and gg to sleep later.... i missed s'pore food!!!!!!! and when i returned, i suddenly realised that my home is actually very clean..... cos Phnom penh is just too untidy... haha, glad to be home and tata",
