Macy's Boston Tree Search Contest @Macys #Christmas #Contest

“This post is sponsored by Everywhere Agency; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.“

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!  OK maybe not quite yet, but it really isn't that far away!!

Christmas is my favorite holiday, and I look forward to it every year.  The lights, the tree, the holiday cheer.  It is all so magical!!

It is a tradition for us to get our Christmas tree either Friday or Saturday after Thanksgiving  We spend a long time searching for that perfect tree!!

For me, I need a tree that doesn't shed a lot, smells nice, is full and sturdy enough to hold all of my precious ornaments, and is at least 6 ft tall.

We also need a really sturdy tree this year to hold up against Kevin.  We are not sure how well he will do with not eating it!!  He tends to eat almost everything!!

Macy's in Downtown Boston always finds that perfect tree, and they need your help to do so!!

Think you have the most amazing Christmas tree in town? Macy’s wants to see it! Tis the season! Macy’s Downtown Boston is looking for a perfect Christmas tree, but they need you and your followers help. They’re asking all of their friends to share the perfect tree with them. Macy’s will use the selected winner’s actual tree in their Boston store. The winner will also receive a $1,000 Macy’s Gift Card for all of their holiday shopping needs!

There are some specific details to enter the Boston Tree search. Macy’s is looking for evergreen trees only, either fir or spruce, standing 40-50 feet tall and displaying full brush. It must have a single trunk from top to bottom and be easily accessible to the harvesting crew.

To enter, snap a photo of your tree and send it, along with a 4” x 6” index card detailing your name, daytime phone number, street address, email address, location and height of the tree, to:

Macy’s Perfect Tree Search,
Attn: Macy’s Special Events,
11 Penn Plaza, 11th Floor,
New York, NY 10001.

Entries must be received by October 9th, so don’t delay!

I hope you will enter, and if you do, please come back here and post the picture you submit.  I would love to see them!!  Good luck!!

(Boca Raton, FL) – March 12, 2015 If you can use toilet paper to make a beautiful wedding dress you just might win $10,000 and have your entry made into a real gown!
Everyone likes to save money here and there. And for some, saving money on weddings is more than a hobby, and a little less than an obsession. Laura Gawne and Susan Bain operate the popular website www.Cheap-Chic-Weddings.com.

The Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest presented by Cheap Chic Weddings and Charmin begins March 12, 2015 for the eleventh year in a row.

For the first time ever, Kleinfeld Bridal will create a wearable gown inspired by the Grand Prize Winner’s Entry! Contestants have until May 12, 2015 to submit their paper masterpieces. Top ten entries will be chosen then online voting will be open to the public.

The top ten dresses and their designers will be flown to New York City to participate in a live fashion show finale event at Kleinfeld Bridal in New York City on June 17, 2015 where the top three winners will be chosen.

At the Finale Event, the dress entries will be judged by members of Cheap Chic Weddings, Charmin, Co-Owner of Kleinfeld, Mara Urshel and Celebrity Judge Mikie Russo, event planner and host of “Mikie Saves the Date” on FYI Network.

“The contest has grown immensely over the last ten years and we are always in awe of the beautiful gowns created by the contestants.” says Susan Bain, Co-Founder of Cheap Chic Weddings. “We specialize in making weddings chic on a budget but these designs often surpass even our imaginations.” added Laura Gawne, Co-Founder of Cheap Chic Weddings.
The Grand Prize winner will see their design created into a beautiful gown and receive $10,000, the second place winner will receive $5000 and the third place winner will receive $2500.

Here’s How to Enter:

First: Plan your design.

Third: Make the dress and headpiece on your model or mannequin and take some clear, unaltered digital photos (front, back and side). The dress must be able to be worn by a human!
