Woman Trying To Retrieve Cell Phone Hit, Killed By Bus In Brooklyn



A woman’s phone had fallen underneath the B44 as it idled on Fulton St. near Halsey St. in Bedford-Stuyvesant about 1:30 p.m. She died at the scene after being pinned under the bus' wheels as it moved forward.

Car Wash Worker Struck And Killed By Vehicle On Atlantic Av In Brooklyn


Bed-Stuy - A car wash worker in Brooklyn is dead after a freak accident Sunday night.

Police say the man was moving a Lincoln Navigator from the Automated Hand Car Wash located at 1119 Atlantic Avenue when he lost control and drove it into the street.

When the SUV was hit by another car, the worker was ejected and was hit by the vehicle he had been driving.

Woman Fatally Shot In Bed-Stuy At Dekalb and Franklin Avenues


Bedford-Stuyvesant - A 24-year old woman was fatally shot and killed on Tuesday morning in the courtyard of Brooklyn apartment complex.

At about 11:20 a.m. NYPD responded to a call of a shooting at Dekalb and Franklin Avenues in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood.

Nearly 40 Hurt In Bus-Car Crash After Police Chase In Brooklyn




Brooklyn - More then 40 people were injured during a accident involving a car that fled from cops

Officials said 41 people on a B-15 bus were hurt after a car that apparently ran a stop sign to get away from police collided with the bus at Herkimer Street and Albany Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant

3rd Alarm Fire Injures Three In Brooklyn


Bedford-Stuyvesant - A fire swept through a series of buildings on Lafayette Avenue early Monday morning, injuring three people, the FDNY said.

Firefighters responded to a call of the blaze at a four-story building at 857 Lafayette Ave. shortly before 2 a.m., officials said.
