As the newest Peppa Pig cover song to release, “Dynamite” by Peppa is all about enjoying each day and helping uplift others with energy, positivity, and hope – with the original song’s lyrics having been slightly tweaked for Peppa Pig fans and preschool audiences. Peppa’s version of “Dynamite” is her second-ever cover, following Peppa’s popular first rendition of Katy Perry’s “ROAR” earlier this year.

Preschool Favorites ‘Baby Shark’ & ‘Sesame Street’ Team Up for Holiday Fun

The Pinkfong Company, the global entertainment company, has announced an exciting collaboration between the global phenomenon Baby Shark and the iconic Sesame Street. This special collaboration will span exclusive merchandise, a holiday music video and a playlist set to premiere on both the Pinkfong and Sesame Street English YouTube channels. This team-up to share a heartwarming holiday message leads into Baby Shark‘s landmark 10th anniversary in 2025.

Baby Shark and Sesame Street Holiday Special

Set in a whimsical winter wonderland, the festive music video features a brand-new orchestral version of the world-famous “Baby Shark” song by Pinkfong. The updated arrangement is enriched with cheerful holiday elements — including the delightful sound of sleigh bells  — that capture the magic of the season. Fans of all ages will enjoy seeing Sesame Street’s Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Abby Cadabby join Baby Shark and William in a fun-filled game of tag, spreading holiday cheer with their playful energy.

LOST 'SpongeBob' Music Video FOUND!

A lost SpongeBob SquarePants music video featuring SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy singing "All The Small Things" has been found. While the final version of this SpongeBob music video was already made public, a recent rough cut just found its way to YouTube with a few interesting differences. Why was it rejected?

"That's right, I have found the original rough cut of the infamous sponge bob video that has NEVER been seen outside of the production studio and SpongeBob creator Stephen Hillenburg .     This was a version that was made to get a sign off on the concept of the video dance party, and used the same formula as our other VideoMods, characters from the IP or Game playing instruments in a band singing the song.    You will see Sandy tearing up the Bass, Patrick pounding  it out on a seashell drumkit, and SpongeBob ripping into his flying V electric guitar, as well as singing the song.   Stephen Hillenburg disapproved of this version saying that "SpongeBob doesn't play a guitar or sing" and didn't want that aspect of the video.  We had a short 48 hours to refit what we had already made and created new animation to replace the offending shots.   I was always puzzled by this as I remember sponge bob singing and playing a guitar describing himself as the "goofy goober"     Upon retrospect,  I feel that it was more of him singing Karaoke style and it wasn't something he wanted at that time.  Our video was made before he ever sang in one of the movies or on the show.  

I present it here along side of the original video so you can easily spot the changes.  The only copy of this video was a very low res supper compressed QuickTime, which I kept at the original resolution in the upper left corner, with an AI upscaled version.   Enjoy.

Peppa Pig Releases 'Piggle Wiggle' Single and Music Video

The latest Peppa Pig single and music video Piggle Wiggle is available to stream across all platforms.

Nickelodeon Reimagines 'The Backyardigans'

Nickelodeon has reimagined The Backyardigans, giving the network's beloved CG-animated preschool series a brand new look!

The refreshed look The Backyardigans was unveiled in a music video released on the official The Backyardigans YouTube channel on July 12, which covers the fan-favorite “Castaways” song, which became a viral hit on TikTok during the pandemic.

Ahoy! The Backyardigans are on a sailing ship at sea and use their life boat to go on an island after a rainstorm! Uniqua, Pablo and Tyrone sing "Castaways" as they learn to live the island way like finding coconuts and going fishing! Sing, dance, and use your imagination with them as they wait for a ship to rescue them!

At the moment, the new rebooted look sounds like it's only going to be limited to reimagining the music videos from the show, with producer Kate Smeal paying tribute to Janice Burgess, the late creator of The Backyardigans, who passed away earlier this year, on LinkedIn, saying:

"Janice Burgess, I hope we do you proud with this series. You influenced an entire generation of kids and left your thumb print on the world of children's entertainment. This one is for you! 

"I am honored to have been part of the reimagining of The Backyardigans' discography for Nickelodeon and Nickelodeon Animation. Here is the first song of the series, Castaways! The Nick team on this project is so insanely talented, thoughtful, and fun to work with. They have made this series so special and I cannot wait for you to see what they created. Marc Cantone Skylar Apter Khadiyah Thomas Pooja Inamdar Nora Soto-Hoskins Harold white.

The Backyardigans is a popular CG-animated preschool series that follows five high-spirited neighbors who meet in their adjoining backyards and use their imaginations to transport themselves to different locations for epic adventures, all set to a backdrop of music and dance. The Backyardigans gang is made up of Pablo, an energetic, enthusiastic and excitable penguin; Pablo’s best friend Tyrone, an easy-going, confident young moose; Uniqua, a one-of-a-kind character with an adventurous nature; Tasha, a deceptively sweet and girlish hippo; and Austin, a resourceful and shy kangaroo. The series aired for 80 episodes across four seasons between October 11, 2004 and July 12, 2013.
