NICKELODEON HOTELS & RESORTS ANNOUNCES INAUGURAL FOOD & SLIME FESTIVAL

MIAMI, Oct. 17, 2023 -- Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts is thrilled to introduce the first-ever Food & Slime Festival this fall at Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya, Mexico. The tasty fall fest is a creative spin on a traditional food and wine fair, offering guests of all ages the chance to indulge in innovative gastronomy and beverages. The event occurs from November 3, 2023 to November 30, 2023, with a special Thanksgiving menu available over the holiday. Nickelodeon Programming Publicity Manager Tiffany Chao Wins 2022 Big Apple Award 15 Under 35 Gong

The New York Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA-NY) has announced Tiffany Chao, Corporate Communications and Programming Publicity Manager, Nickelodeon as one this year's recipients of the 2022 Big Apple Award 15 Under 35! One of one of Big Apple’s most prestigious awards, the 15 Under 35 award recognizes fifteen emerging talents under the age of thirty-five for their extraordinary works, efforts, innovation, leadership, and inspiration across the PR industry.

At Nickelodeon, Chao works across corporate communications and programming publicity for live-action, animation and preschool content. Chao has co-led many publicity campaigns including Blue’s Clues 25th Anniversary; the NFL Wild Card Game on Nickelodeon, the first-ever NFL telecast produced for kids and family in partnership with CBS Sports; and the annual Kids’ Choice Awards, writing press materials, managing credentialing, ticketing, tip sheet edits, press check-in and more. Nickelodeon Africa Announces the Return of NickFest

Could Nickelodeon be planning to launch a NickFest family event in the U.S.?

ViacomCBS, the parent company of the Nickelodeon brand, has applied to register the trademark for NICKFEST with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)!

Monde Twala, one of the co-General Managers (GM) of ViacomCBS Networks Africa (VNCA), has revealed that, following a two-year hiatus due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, Nickelodeon Africa is set to bring back NickFest, South Africa’s biggest family-centric festival later this year!

"The events and activation side of the industry should bounce back observing COVID-19 protocols," said Twala, adding "[a]udiences love to touch and feel brands, so we plan to bring back physical shows for the MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMAs), which showcase the ultimate in African culture, music, and creativity as well as an Africa Day concert hosted by MTV Base. After a hiatus, South Africa’s biggest family-centric festival ‘NickFest’ is planned to return in [later this] year."

First launched in Africa in 2015, NickFest is Nickelodeon's festival for kids and families that features a unique combination of live musical performances from some of the most popular artists, appearances from the stars of Nickelodeon's hit shows, as well as a variety of Nick-themed games and activities, and tons of Nickelodeon's trademark slime.

Following its success in Africa, NickFest events have been held in Portugal and Spain.

Nickelodeon UK Brings SLIME, MUSIC and MAYHEM Back to Blackpool With SlimeFest 2021

After a two year wait, Nickelodeon once again turned Blackpool green with the channel's fifth SlimeFest, which treated thousands of screaming youngsters to slime-tastic performances from much-loved acts including Diversity, Kid Rain, Fleur East, Blessing Annatoria, Wes Nelson, and John Newman, as well as special appearances from the show's hosts, Jordan & Perri from Diversity and social media stars Max & Harvey, over six shows across three days at Blackpool’s Pleasure Beach Arena!

TikTok sensation Holly H was set to co-host, however, had to cancel at the last minute due to illness.

VIPs treading the iconic Orange Carpet included Paris Fury (wife of boxer Tyson) and her family.

This was the first SlimeFest in two years, following 2020's event having to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fans who missed out can catch up with all the fun with the highlights show, which will air on Nickelodeon UK & Ireland at 6pm on Friday November 5!

Wes Nelson, who smashed onto the scene in 2020 with his Top 3 hit ‘See Nobody’, joins the Slimefest 2021 line-up as the final announcement completing the amazing line-up across the weekend. Wes Nelson will be joining hosts Jordan and Perri, Max and Harvey and Holly H to perform to fans across both Saturday 16th October and Sunday the 17th October.

Update (15/10) - Unfortunately due to illness, Holly H is unable to attend and host SlimeFest this weekend. She apologises and sends her love to all her fans and is looking forward to hopefully seeing them all again soon. The show will still go ahead with Jordan & Perri and Max & Harvey hosting and amazing performances from the previously announced line-up. Additionally, Nickelodeon UK & Ireland will premiere Slimefest 2021, a brand new special bring all the slime, music and mayhem from this year's SlimeFest to viewers at home on Friday 5th November 2021 at 6:00pm!

Wes will be joining number 1 artist John Newman and BAFTA award-winning dance group Diversity, who were confirmed to perform earlier this year. Newman will be joining the SLIMEFEST mayhem for the very first time, while iconic dance group Diversity, who will be performing across all 6 shows, will be returning for a fifth slime-filled year at The Arena, Blackpool Pleasure Beach. They'll be joined by Headliner Fleur East, reigning The Voice champion Blessing Annatoria, and KiD RAiN.

SLIMEFEST is presented by Nickelodeon in partnership with VisitBlackpool and will be hosted by Diversity’s Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely, as well as BRAND-NEW hosts, social media stars and singers Max & Harvey, and TikTok sensation Holly H. Nickelodeon has today announced that English singer, actress and broadcaster Fleur East and The Voice 2020 winner Blessing Annatoria will be performing at this year’s SLIMEFEST event!

Fleur East, who will be headlining SLIMEFEST on Saturday 16th October, first achieved notoriety for a succession of chart topping singles, and  she now continues to make waves across national radio and TV through her role as a broadcaster, hosting on shows such as This Morning and her Hits Radio show, as well as presenting on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway and fronting new primetime ITV game show The Void alongside Ashley Banjo.

Blessing, the 18-year-old Zimbabwe-born vocal powerhouse from Dudley and reigning champion of The Voice, will appear across all 3 days of the slime filled event, performing gospel-infused songs from her newly released debut album “Count My Blessings”.

London, 9th June 2021 – John Newman and BAFTA award-winning dance group Diversity are set to join the line-up for this year’s SLIMEFEST event. Newman will be joining the SLIMEFEST mayhem for the very first time, while iconic dance group Diversity will be returning for a fifth slime-filled year at The Arena, Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

With one of the most distinctive voices in music and a string of number 1 singles, Newman is guaranteed to light up the slime pit and have ticket holders rocking all night when he performs Monday 18th October and belts out some of his most iconic hits!

The sensational dance group Diversity, who recently won the public-voted BAFTA TV ‘Must-See Moment’ award for their Black Lives Matter-inspired routine performed on Britain's Got Talent, will also be returning to this year’s event across all six shows! Since their 2009 Britain’s Got Talent win, the group have completed multiple sell-out arena tours and performed in front Her Majesty the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance!

SLIMEFEST is presented by Nickelodeon in partnership with VisitBlackpool and will be hosted by Diversity’s Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely, as well as BRAND-NEW hosts, social media stars and singers Max & Harvey, and TikTok sensation Holly H. The six-show extravaganza will kick-off Saturday 16th October with shows at 1pm and 6pm across the days and will end with a blast Monday 18th October. You won’t want to miss it!

SLIMEFEST marks the return of Nickelodeon's annual music festival for kids, following SLIMEFEST 2020 being postponed due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. It's currently unknown whether Nickelodeon will still be hosting SLIMEFEST in London, as initially planned.

The Pleasure Beach Arena will strictly follow Government and Health Authority guidelines.  A whole range of Covid-19 procedures and protocols have been implemented to ensure the safety of guests, staff and performers.  The wearing of face coverings may be required in designated areas and organisers will update ticket holders closer to the event with any specific procedures relating to Covid-19.  SLIMEFEST will be compliant with any Covid-19 regulations applicable at the time.

If SLIMEFEST 2021 is unable to proceed due to Government or Health Authority guidance, Nickelodeon will transfer your booking to an alternative date or refund your booking.  The terms and conditions relating to this are available at https://www.blackpoolpleasurebeach.com/whats-on/slimefest/.

London, 29th March 2021 – Nickelodeon UK are once again partnering with VisitBlackpool to bring Nickelodeon’s SLIMEFEST back for a fifth year of slime, music and mayhem following 2019's sold out shows.

SLIMEFEST 2021 will take place at The Arena at Blackpool Pleasure Beach from 16th – 18th October.

SLIMEFEST 2021 will see longstanding SLIMEFEST hosts Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely returning to the stage, and will this year be joined by Max and Harvey and Holly H for all 6 shows. They’ll host Nickelodeon’s unique mix of amazing music acts, special guests, and most importantly SLIME! Tickets are on sale now. Nickelodeon also today confirmed the first act set to appear at SLIMEFEST 2021: KiD RAiN.

Nickelodeon Italy Announces SlimeFest 2020

Nickelodeon Italy (Italia) has announced plans to host SlimeFest 2020, the channel's fifth annual localised version of Nickelodeon's slime-filled, multiplatform music and entertainment event!

Due to the on-going COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, SlimeFest 2020 Italia will take on a whole new format. Instead of a live event, SlimeFest 2020 will be a TV special full of surprises, special guests and, of course, Nickelodeon Slime that will come directly from Nickelodeon's "Secret" laboratories!

Hosted by Cecilia Cantarano and Valeria Vedovatti, winners of "Nuova Star Italiana" and "Internet Star Italiana", respectively at Kids' Choice Awards 2020, SlimeFest 2020 will premiere on Nickelodeon Italia on Friday 11th December at 20:00.

Update (26/10) - Nickelodeon Italia has announced that digital creators Giorgia Malerba, Giorgio Solfrizzi, Marta Losito, Michelle Cavallaro, Noa Planas and Swami Caputo will be special guests at SlimeFest 2020!

Update (16/11) - Nickelodeon Italia has announced that Il Tre, Leo Gassmann, Random, Shade and Ludwig will be performing at SlimeFest 2020! Additionally, fans have the chance to win virtual meet and greets with the stars of SlimeFest 2020!

Leading up to SlimeFest 2020, Nickelodeon will air "Road to SlimeFest", which will introduce viewers to the artists and guests who will be appearing on the show.

Torna lo SlimeFest, con un'edizione tutta speciale!

SlimeFest è arrivato alla quinta edizione e torna quest'anno con un format tutto nuovo! L'edizione 2020, non sarà un evento live come quello degli anni passati, ma uno show televisivo, ricco di sorprese, ospiti e, naturalmente slime che arriverà direttamente dai laboratori "segreti" di Nickelodeon.

 

Il periodo che stiamo vivendo non permette di realizzare l'evento al quale eravamo abituati. Il format di quest'anno sarà, quindi, diverso ma comunque ricco di tantissimi cantanti e i creators che scroprirai via via con il nostro "Road to SlimeFest".
