Attempt at burglary.

--Last Friday night an effort was made to force an entrance into a grocery store corner 1st and Jackson sts., but proved unsuccessful. The burglars bored four holes through the door to get at the bar, but were frightened off by the lady of the house, who heard them, and alarmed them by attempting to arouse her husband.
