Office Quartermaster, Bacon's Quarter Branch, Oct. 9, 1863.

A reward of $20 will be paid for the apprehension of a boy named Charles, hired from W T Snead, who ran away from the C S Lot about the middle of August. The said boy is lurking about the city. He is 18 or 20 years old, gingerbread color, about 5 feet high, stammers when spoken to, and has the general appearance of stupidity.

R P Archer,
Major and Quartermaster. oc 10--ts
