Seeding grain

should now be the occupation of every farmer in the South who has not already sown all his lands in wheat, oats, and rye. The scarcity of long forage will u make the oat and rye crops exceedingly valuable next spring, and the demand for flour for the army will increase the price materially, unless the currency is very much improved before next harvest. The army must be fed, or the South will be subjugated, and the farmers lose their all.
