Bound over.
--Walter Ruth and L. P. Kuhu were each bound over in the sum of $200 for threatening to assault and beat Miss Virginia Mosby, and using abusive and insulting language to her about her family.Theresa Kenney was arraigned before. His Honor on the charge of unlawfully assaulting and beating, Bridget, Parsons. Mrs. P.'s evidence proved that for some time back a mutual disagreement existed between the parties, which culminated on Tuesday or Wednesday last in an attack on her by Mrs. K., during which she had drawn a large 12 inch bowie knife, and would have cut her if it had not been for the interference of her husband. Mrs. Kenney denied the charge brought against her, and asserted that the complainant was a woman of troublesome character; all she wanted was to be let alone by her. The accused was bound over to keep the peace in the sum of $150.
Thomas M. C. Turner, charged with being drunk and disorderly in the street, was bound over in the sum of $500 to be of good behavior, this being the third or fourth time he was arraigned before the Mayor for the same offence.
