Bombardment of Natchez.

--The steamer Ocean Queen at New York from New Orleans on the 9th reports that the gunboat Essex arrived at New Orleans on the 8th inst. The Essex cased the rebel ram Webb past the Vicksburg batteries. and then shelled Natchez, Miss, until they hoisted the American flag. She then destroyed Bayce stare, and while coming down the Mississippi giver she engaged the heavy rebel batteries at Port Hudson at eighty yards distance, silencing their heavy gun and receiving no damage herself, although receiving a tremendous fire of shot and shell.
