A father accidentally Kills his son.
--The parish of Piaquemines (La.) correspondent of the New Orleans Picayune, dated the 6th inst., says:‘ A few days ago Mr. Allen Elston, while hunting in a pirogue in Bayon des Liards, a small stream lying a few miles above Fort Jackson, on the right side of the river, had the misfortune to wound fatally his son, a youth fourteen years old. Mr. Elston, shivering with cold, was trying to put a cap on the nipple of his gun, when by some accident it went off, the whole charge taking effect in the left side of young Elston, who was standing in the forepart of the pirogue, causing death in about two hours.
