Alarm of fire.

--The clothing store of Messrs. Taylor & Co., on Main st., between 9th and 10th streets, narrowly escaped destruction yesterday morning, about 4 o'clock. The internal of the store caught fire from a box of ashe, as it is supposed, and the floor, wall, and stairway were much burnt; but it was fortunately discovered and extinguished without the aid of the fire engines.
