The polls.

--The people are called upon to elect municipal officers to-day, and for the purpose of allowing all an opportunity of voting, the polls will be opened at sunrise at the several voting precincts. The Mayor has detailed a sufficiency of officers to preserve the public peace. Let all vote who can, and cast their suffrages for the right man in the right place. By so doing, the city will secure competent officers to represent her interests.
