The Legislature.

The Senate yesterday passed the bill concerning street railroads in Richmond. A joint resolution for adjournment on the 20th was adopted and sent to the House. A report from the Peace Commissioners was read and ordered to be printed.

In the House, bills were reported amending the law organizing the militia, and that for increasing and re-arranging the divisions and brigades of the Commonwealth. The report of the Peace Commissioners was read, and a bill passed creating the county of Bland out of parts of Giles, Wythe and Tazewell. The general bill for the voluntary enslavement of free negroes, was ordered to its engrossment.
