The women of the War.

--Madame Mario (Miss Jessie Meriton White,) is acting nobly and usefully at Naples as head nurse and hospital superintendent, Her husband, a very good-looking young Italian, has fought bravely, and was one of the small band who first cast themselves on the main shore from Sicily and took to the mountains of Calabria. The Marchioness Della Torre, who fights like a man, and of whom half the Garibaldian officers are said to be enamored, is a heroine of a different style and mold.
