Oct. 14. Started from Boxford at 11.30 o'clock en route for Washington, D. C., with orders to report to the Adjutant General. At Boston we took a special train in which there were 111 horses turned over to us by Capt. McKim.Oct. 17. Arrived in Washington and encamped near Bladensburg Tollgate about 6 o'clock P. M.
