§§ 55, 56. The case now lies between me and the defendants: it is for them to deal with Hyblesius the skipper, who is their own countryman, and must be sued in their courts. We have no knowledge of any transactions between them. It is the duty of the judges to deal severely with fraud in defence of mercantile interests.
