Meowy Christmas Craft-A-Licious Designs from The Cherry On Top and Design Bundles and a Free Christmas Card

Welcome to The Cherry On Top and happy holidays!

I've got a full, furry and adorable holiday collection for ya. I started this last year and added a bit more for the GingerScraps shop which has the usual digital scrapbooking goodies you know and love from us and the other digital scrapbooking designers out there.

There's a great pack of printables that includes 3 different cards, a sticker sheet and a page of tags for the tree or gift giving.

I'm super crazy about the word art. Think of awesome sublimation projects you can create!

Adorable T-Shirts

Cute Coffee Cups

Comfy Cat Cushions

Sassy and Funny Feline Decorations

You can grab the individual packs in Kreative Design Studio at Design Bundles.

Above are the Personal Use elements in GingerScraps and below the papers from the collection.

I put this in the newsletter. It's my favorite word art from the pack.

Here is some page inspiration from the Creative Team.

Ya don't need a Christmas theme to scrap this collection.

Here are some of the designs that I used from Plus.

I did not use the cats below YET. Aren't they the cutest?! I saw them in the download when I went hunting for links and thought ya just might want to add these designs to your stash.

I have a little nifty Christmas gift for ya. I designed this image, printed out a few and put them as an insert in my holiday cards for family. I'll use the digital version to send around, too. I used gorgeous Plus designs for our Vintage Christmas kit.

Christmas Scrapbooking Projects and Craft Inspiration

 Welcome, crafters and scrapbookers.

This is a blog I wrote for Design Bundles and thought I'd update and share it here, too.

So many creative people just love the holidays.  Whether you’re all about designing gorgeous Christmas products or crafting with them, we’ve got you set.

I’ll walk you through amazing Christmas layouts with scrapbooking templates, festive papers, wintery stickers and much more.  There’s even a project for you at the end.

Peruse our scrapbooking pages and digital Christmas products from Design Bundles and Plus and get inspired to craft something for the holidays.

Designs from Kreative Design Studio

Scrapbooking paper with a Christmas theme is really easy to find in Design Bundles.  There is a huge assortment of digital papers in all kinds of styles.  I bet you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for and more.

Above, you’ll get swept away to a warm winter.  If you live where the season is warm at Christmas or you wish you did, we’ve got plenty of goodies that embrace the beach at Christmas. This is Flamazing Christmas from our shop.

Look for texture rich paper with a Christmas theme for scrapbooking, cards, tags...whatever your heart desires.  Consider scrapbooking templates to scrap beautifully and quickly.  You can use templates for cards and design papers. Definitely grab coordinating elements to match your paper to get the perfect look.

It’s such a joy going through the shop’s vintage designs.  This is just a tiny sample of some of the awesome holiday papers.  There is classic, vintage scrapbooking paper and embellishments for scrapping memories and much more.

If vintage isn’t your thing, no worries at all.  We’ve got styles for everyone! Can you just imagine how cute your scrapbooking pages, sublimation designs, cards or tags would be with these whimsical gnome designs?

Here's another fun kit and it's 50% off until Christmas. As is the entire shop!

Stickers are ideal for presents, envelopes and as reward stickers.

If you find a pack of Christmas elements that are not specifically stickers or on sheets, no problem.  It’s very easy to turn them into stickers.  Pop into your design software, start a new document, slide in your chosen embellishments, size and simply add a stroke to your chosen elements.  It’s that easy!

These can then be used digitally or print them and craft and create traditionally.  You gotta love the options that digital products provide.

Design amazing Christmas scrapbooking papers and stickers with Plus!

Above, you can see my Christmas scrapbook paper and stickers that I designed with lovely goodies from Plus.  I intensified and changed the colors of the elements, added a slight bevel for a more dimensional look, used shadows and then added a thick white stroke for the sticker effect.

Some designers offer a png design to design your own papers.  That’s what I used for the scrapbook papers you see, above.

Tweak the colors how you like them…

And then decide if you want to leave the design as is or go with a smaller design by minimizing the size, duplicating and nudging it all to fit perfectly on your page.

Note how much smaller the design is on this page.  Isn’t that so cool?!  In just a few quick and easy steps, you can have customized designs.

A mega useful pack of Christmas snowflakes from Plus.

I highly recommend getting a pack or bundle of snowflakes for your Christmas projects and designs.  Create overlays, papers or use as elements.  Trust me!  You’ll use these over and over, again.

Pages That Will Inspire You

Let’s put together stickers, other elements, solid papers and design papers and scrapbook some fabulous page layouts for Christmas.

The Cherry On Top Template and Designs from Aimee Harrison

Using digital scrapbooking templates is an excellent way to get started.  They will save you a lot of time, too.  Above, I used a template and simply matted my photos, added a string of lights and built three small clusters that extend off of the page.  Simple, right?

Let’s stick with the simplicity of squares and check out more festive scrapbooking layouts with Christmas in mind.

Template from The Cherry On Top and designs from Aimee Harrison.

Large photos will help fill your page up fast.  Consider using fun word art instead of photos.  Check out the different ways I did my clusters this time.  Obviously, I couldn’t put a cluster in the bottom right corner because of my photo.  The photo spot was perfect for that picture.

Designs from Paty Greif

Talk about large photos!  You can scrapbook in minutes with a style like this.  One large photo, some Christmasy borders and a few elements and your page is finished. My oldest was a hair puller.  Ouch!

Designs from The Cherry On Top.

Scrapbooking the holidays doesn’t have to take a long time.  Besides, we are usually swamped this time of year.

Scrap simply by using a super interesting background.  Stack up coordinating, colorful matting under your photo and place a few thoughtful elements on your page and you can have a lovely scrapbook layout made in minutes.

Designs from Paty Greif and template from The Cherry On Top.

If you like keeping it simple, then do just that.  Place pretty coordinating papers and just keep stacking them until your heart's content. Try using a stacked up banner from a template or make one yourself.  Add word art or a title and again, place a few embellishments that match your papers.

Designs from Kreative Design Studio, Key Lime Digi Design and Aimee Harrison.

If you’re wanting really unique designs and are not sure how to go about scrapbooking them, look into templates like the one above and below.  Scour the net for ideas to lift for your own pages.

Designs from The Cherry On Top

Layer up ribbons or use a festive template.  Angle your photos if you like and why not turn some paint into glitter paint.  A black background can be a sweet change up, too.

Template from The Cherry On Top and designs from Made By Keuntje.

Christmas templates are ideal for a holiday album.  How about a wreath for the basis of your page?  You could do your photo like I’ve done or fame it up and position it as you like.

Designs from The Cherry On Top and Clever Monkey Graphics

Go crazy with your favorite scrapbook designer for your next Christmas inspired scrapbooking page.  A snow globe is a whimsical wintery idea for a page layout.  This would make a great digital or paper card to send around to friends and family.

Designs from Clever Monkey Graphics and Wendy P

It certainly doesn’t have to always be square or 12x12.  Printing your layouts from home is really fun and amazingly satisfying. I prefer 8x8 and 6x6 myself. Print and slip it in a plastic sleeve in a scrapbooking album or have it professionally printed.

I thought I’d leave you with a fabulous Christmas project. I've got a step by step on the blog.

Recycle those transparent card boxes with a creative Christmas craft.

-Scale down a few Christmas scrapbook layouts so they fit in your box.  This was 4x4 inches.

-Print them out.

-Stuff your box with gifts, money, giftcards, candy…

-Carefully slide in your pages.

-Add a bow if you like.

My nieces loved this present.  I scrapped them with their friends and pets to make it a totally personalized gift.

Scrapbooking for Christmas is such a blast!  Let us help you do it.  Hit up Design Bundles YouTube channel or ours. Look through the Design School and pop over to the friendly and creative community for an overall, crafting experience.

This blog has been up for nearly a decade and it is full, full, full of freebies, scrapbook inspiration, crafts and even recipes.

Thanks for checking us out and happy holiday crafting!

and some page inspiration...

Scrap fast with element clusters!

Needing some wild blingy papers?  I'm thinking these we will be so cool for planners, teen designs and animal themes.  I made pretty brushes, frames and all kinds of awesome with these papers and so can you. These are also just a buck.

I know vintage is so popular. So I went with that theme for my bundle of 6 Christmas cards.  I've included a variety of printable cards including the kind where you can crop family photos. I love giving those out.  I put two on one piece of paper and print on glossy, rigid paper for the best result.

These are also 50% off!

Here's a peek at my cards.

They are ready in just a few minutes!

Now, let's take a look at these super fun templates for just $1 each.

I messed with the opacity of the glass and enlarged the photo size.

Here are some insanely easy holiday printables.  The kids can even get involved.  Keep them little buggers busy this holiday.  They'd make great class projects, too.

Exploding box cards are all the rage and they make the cutest darn scrapbook mini's, too! Here's one with a vintage flair.

Speaking of vintage.  Here are even more great vintage printables for the holidays.  I designed a pack of money card holders that ya don't need anything special for.  Not even a cutting machine.  I don't have one and I really like this concept.  You know me.  I designed a template that's mega easy to whip together.

vintage money card holders

You print the extra pieces if you need them.  I cut around the shape and then carefully used my hole puncher for the holes.  It wasn't perfect, but once you put the bill through, you don't see the imperfections.  Simply glue or adhere the extra piece as shown.

Take a good look at these money cards.  Don't they look like something else?  Yes!  The set for non cutting machine users can also be used as tags, stickers or journal cards.  How cool, right?!

Ok!  You made it and I have some more amazing news for ya.  I'll be putting together a really cute mini scrapbooking kit and template to give away, next week.  One part will go in the newsletter, once I blow the dust of it.  Hehehe...And I'll have two more parts.  One here and I'm putting the other part in all of my new holiday items in the shop, too.

The blog hop of free scrapbooking templates is also on next, Saturday!  So, it'll be another big bloggo.

I'm also going to have big, big giveaways and a lot of freebies throughout the holidays.  The best way to not miss out is to sign up for the news letter.  You can do that in the side bar or here.

I sure hope you'll be a part of it. Thanks for popping by our blog.  I love when ya do that! Don't forget to find time to craft and have a safe and happy holiday.
