Flicks

I read The Help sometime last year and loved it.

I was super excited to see they made a movie out of it.

So, I went to see this with my girlfriends last night.

Like the book, it did not disappoint. Go see it. Seriously. You'll love it.

Maybe bring a tissue.

Some other good movies to see?

Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
I still love Shia LeBoeuf.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2
Need I say more? I loved it.

Captain America.
My dad and I went and saw this while they were here this past weekend.
I really liked it.
Chris Evans body was ROCKIN'!

Crazy, Stupid, Love
I think I liked this movie. The guy behind us kept talking and it was super distracting. So the most I got out of it is when the usher kicked the guy out.
Probably need to go see it again.
I love Emma Stone. She's one of my new favorite actresses.

There you have it!

What good movies have you seen this summer?

Livin' it up

My poor, neglected blog. I think we're just having too much fun this summer and I can't keep up!

We've done a lot of shiz, and hopefully I'll catch up. Eventually. We're just soaking in the last bits of summer and loving it. I'm not really ready for fall, but maybe in a month or so? You know, around fall time? Der!

Anyway, I'm kind of obsessed with this picture.
It makes me laugh. Especially Brett, going all spread eagle off the cliff. (the term cliff is used real loosely here folks, obviously.)

Just a little cliff jumping at Lake Powell! Super fun trip. More pictures to follow.

School is officially back in session (which I'm ALWAYS excited about!) and all of Brett's buddies got to start kindergarten. He's a little sad. He misses the deadline by 2.5 months. Sorry for getting knocked up in February and not November, Brett! My bad!

Burke will also miss the deadline, by 10 days! You couldn't come 13 weeks early, Burke? Geez.

So, looks like we'll just be getting all of our Disneyland trips out of our system in this next year. After that, we'll just leave Brett at home. Sucks for him.

In other exciting news, I hit 100,000 miles on my car. I know, not that exciting. But it's 1:30 a.m.

Also, my brother, who has been living with us all summer, moved back home! Hallelujah! I have my office back and I can WALK AROUND NAKED AGAIN!

Also, ma' bloggy got a redesign. It's nothing fancy, but my chi is a little bit better. But blogger and I are still fighting. Hopefully we'll get over our differences soon, because I've got shiz to blog!

The End.
