GUARDIAN JOM BER-FABULOUS GRAND FINALE

Last Saturday I had a great time with Guardian Malaysia as I get to witness the Guardian Jom Ber-Fabulous Grand Finale. Did you took part in this contest? There were total of 40,000 entries received for this contest. I was eager to find out who are the winners.

Bong Siew Mooi drove home a brand new, state-of-the-art, Honda HR-V RS worth over RM120,000 after she emerged the Grand Prize winner of Guardian’s ‘JOM BER-FABULOUS’ contest held in conjunction with International Women’s Day 2019.

Lee Chee Keong, representing Grand Prize Winner Boon Siew Mooi was all smiles when he won the Honda HR-V RS after overcoming the other 24 finalists in the grand finale event.
Bong said: “I am so happy. I did not expect to win but since I am an avid shopper at Guardian, I decided to enter the contest. The entry requirements were easy and besides, Guardian always offer fantastic promotions with great savings on great products. This new car will come in very useful for me and my family and I would like to thank Guardian for this gift”

The finalists had to complete 2 challenges including a word search contest

Meanwhile, Fariza binti Shabudin from Kuala Lumpur won the 2nd prize of a 5-day 3-night Exotic Dubai holiday with Luxury Hammam experience; Long Jla Hao won the 3rd prize of a 4-day 3-night Maldives trip with spa experience and Zuraini binti Sulaiman won the 4th Prize of a 4-day 3-night trip to Bali with a Balinese spa and experience included.

Twenty other finalists won consolation prizes of Guardian vouchers worth RM500 each.

A total of 24 finalists took part in a Grand Finale event held in Kuala Lumpur recently. They first had to battle for the top four by going through a word search challenge. The top four winners then moved on to the grand final challenge of taking part in a remote controlled racing car contest. It was exciting time to see each other racing to beat the 3 laps of the race.

Guardian’s ‘JOM BER-FABULOUS’ contest ran from 1 March to 31 March 2019 and Guardian customers need only spend a minimum of RM10, which must include a brand on promotion, to enter. Once again congratulations to winners of GUARDIAN JOM BER-FABULOUS!

Helpful Tips for Moving Long Distances

Most people would agree that it is a lot easier to move from just one side of the city to the other. If you forget something, all you have to do is turn around. You can clean the new house, move everything in, and then go back and clean the other house. Long-distance moving can be a little bit more challenging. The following tips can help.

Many have found that hiring professionals is definitely the way to go when it comes to moving from one state to another or across the country. If a person lives on the East Coast, they could hire long distance movers NJ to help them move to the West Coast. When this happens, the movers are going to do the bulk of the work. They will be the ones responsible for making sure that your possessions are packed, well taken care of, moved, and then unpacked. They carry insurance, so if something happens along the way, you do not have to worry.

Organization is key when it comes to moving to a different city. You want to plan ahead so that you can stay organized during the entire process. It is a good idea to make to do list and to mark boxes so that you know what is inside. Take some time to think about the best plan as far as how to pack, when to get a moving truck, when to start the journey, and other the decisions that need to be made. If you look at the pros and cons of each option, you are setting yourself up for the best move possible.

If you have children, you want to pay special attention to their needs to as the move is going on. There are a lot of things that you can do to reassure your children so that they are happy and excited as the move progresses. Parents do not need the stress of unhappy or stressed-out children in addition to the stress that usually accompanies a move. If parents assure their children and plan ahead, they can make sure that their children are confident.

GUARDIAN CUSTOMER WINS DREAM HOME WORTH RM489,000

Exciting as yesterday I went to find out who is the lucky winner of Guardian Win-A-House (WAH) Contest.
The challenge was held at orange concourse, Sunway Pyramid.
The WAH contest, the first ever to be held by Guardian Malaysia, was organized to mark its 49th anniversary celebrations and Malaysia’s national day. The contest, which ran from 28 July to 28 September, required customers to guess the number of Guardian tissue packs in the acrylic model house, measuring 2 feet (width) by 3 feet (height) by 3 feet (length).

Forty-one Guardian Malaysia shoppers had went through an exhilarating one-hour reality challenge which saw them pitch their wits against each other in the final lap of the Guardian Win-A-House (WAH) contest.
First challenge is answers Q &A .

At the end of the thoroughly enjoyable grand finale, one of the finalist won the double-storey link house valued at RM489,000, in Seri Pajam, Nilai. The others took home, between them, 500,000 air miles, 10 Kuvings Slow Juicers, worth more than RM2,800 each, and 40 La Gourmet utensils and product hampers worth more than RM100 each.

Stacking the highest tower in time given
There's also a challenge on spot the differences on the card. Exciting to see each contestant trying their best to win. I find the stacking up challenging as you need to keep items upwards as there will be measure for the top three highest standing stacks to be the Top 3!

The throwing tissue packs, each contestants given 40 packs of tissues. They need to throw backwards without looking at the back and throwing it into their basket. Some contestants able to throw their basket more than 10 tissues packs. Sound easy? Click on the link to view the you tube that I have recorded the moments.
Throw the tissues pack into the basket in the time given.
Ms Christina Low, Marketing director of Guardian Health and Beauty Sdn Bhd said: “We felt that giving away a double-storey house would be a truly meaningful way to reward our customers for their support over the last 49 years, in view of the current concerns about the affordability of residential property.

“By holding this fun and challenging grand finale we also hope it would help promote camaraderie and sportsmanship among our shoppers and make this a truly memorable event for all,” she added.
Ms Low said the contest was a huge success, more than 40,000 entries from all over Malaysia, and she thanked everyone who contributed to its success from those who submitted entries to business associates who supported the contest.

The dream house is set in the idyllic and fast growing township of D’Mayang Sari. It is developed by award-winning developer Seri Pajam Development Sdn Bhd.

The house, which will be completed next year, is designed with prominent and ergonomics features that allows innovative use of space. These features combine to give a unique sense of luxury as well as harmony.

KIX HD’S R U Tough Enough Crowns Benny Yeoh as Malaysia’s Toughest

R U Tough Enough brand ambassadors Linora Low and Keith Foo

Last Saturday, the Malaysia's Toughest to win RM30,000, has come to an end. KIX HD (Astro Ch. 729), the ultimate destination for action entertainment, finally crowned the victor of R U Tough Enough? Man Versus Woman Edition, the nationwide search for Malaysia’s Toughest. Ten contestants had to go through a series of physically demanding and emotionally enduring challenges, to determine who is the tougher gender. Benny Yeoh from #TeamKeith successfully defeated nine other contestants in the toughest gender battle of 2016, and walked away with the coveted title of “Malaysia’s Toughest” and a grand prize of RM30,000.

The response to R U Tough Enough? Man Versus Woman Edition this year has been overwhelming. It is exciting, I saw many people surrounded the orange concourse, Sunway Pyramid to see the actions.
Coupled with two brand new ambassadors, fitness enthusiast, Linora Low, and movie star, Keith Foo, R U Tough Enough? 2016 has doubled the applications from last year. Only five female contestants representing #TeamLinora and five male contestants representing #TeamKeith equipped with the physical, mental and emotional strength were selected to take on the final showdown.
At the final showdown on Saturday #TeamLinora and #TeamKeith had to compete among themselves in a 6-stage obstacle course at the Orange Concourse in Sunway Pyramid. The Toughest Woman from #TeamLinora and the Toughest Man from #TeamKeith then went head-to-head in the final round of challenges to determine who will be Malaysia’s Toughest.

The crowd cheered wildly as Benny Yeoh from #TeamKeith was declared “Malaysia’s Toughest”. Speaking after the final showdown, Benny said, “I believe that toughness isn’t defined by gender or physical strength, but it is about how strong you can hold on and persevere till you get to the finish line. Trust me, it was not easy, especially with such powerful and strong contenders from #TeamLinora present on today
to provide the challenge of a lifetime.”
.
Some excitement on the day that we can hear the crowd cheering, kids please don't try this at home.

“R U Tough Enough? this year is more than just proving which gender is tougher. In fact I am honoured to stand alongside the competing contestants today who showed me the meaning of toughness by displaying a fantastic combined feat of physical strength, mental endurance and emotional resilience,” said Keith Foo, R U Tough Enough? ambassador.
