Buying for children

Raising children is not an easy job. There’s so much to do and think about, it’s hard figuring out what’s right and wrong. One thing you’ll need to decide on is what’s important to buy for them. Here are a few things you should consider when spending money on your children.

Stock Books

Buying children's books is one of the best things you can do for them. It will help them expand their horizons and strengthen their minds. Reading opens doors that are often impossible to even imagine. There are several different genres you can choose from to get, but it might be best to have a variety of styles. You can make sure you are filling your kids full of factual information to help them learn, as well as have a few stories that get the mind rolling.

Utilize Clothes

Clothes are a necessity in every child’s life. They can’t go anywhere if they’re not properly clothed. Instead of going crazy and buying up several individual outfits, look for pieces that can be used in more than one way. This will help you save both space and money. Don’t be afraid to get a few accessories like a children's belt buckle, hats, or even bags, just make sure you aren’t going overboard with them.

Limit Toys

One of the easiest things to do is buy toys and gadgets for your kids. If you’re not careful though, you could do more harm than good. Continuously buying them toys just because is not necessarily a habit you want them to learn. Sometimes it’s good to have them work towards something they really want, or even teach them how to save up money in order to buy it for themselves. It’s not that you can’t buy toys, you should just be careful with how many and how often you do buy them.

These are just a few areas to think about when buying things for your kids. Following some of these tips might help make the raising process a little easier.

3 Ways To Personalize Your Home Décor

Have you had trouble deciding how to decorate your home? Do you have too many seasonal items that lack a personal connection to you? Instead of rotating the seasonal décor that probably clutters your basement, invest in the personal items that will make your house or apartment feel more like your home. Filling your space with books, Hallmark figurines and framed photographs brings a touch of personality into a room and makes the space unique to you.

Books

You might be thinking: books? How is that a decoration? But filling your bookshelf with great reads and picking your favorite books to put on display gives a room character that is specific to you. A torn-up copy of Harry Potter may indicate your love for magical storytelling. You buy books for a reason, and showing your visitors your picks shows a little about your personality.

Figurines

Another great way to decorate your home is to display collectible items. Hallmark figurines are the perfect addition to a television stand or bookshelf. Precious Moments, Josef originals and Willow Tree ornaments offer a huge variety of figurines that allow you to personalize your home with pieces that are meaningful to you. The best part is, while you can buy some seasonal statues, many of them can be displayed year-round too.

Framed Photographs

One of the best ways to make a house feel more like a home is to fill it with remnants of past memories. Photographs allow people to reminisce and share times in their lives with others. Photo albums have to be taken out to show off their contents, but framing some of the best pictures gives you more items to decorate with. You can then fill your home with the friends and family that you love.
Books, figurines and photographs can give your home the personal touch you might be missing. Filling a space with the people, memories and items that you love can really turn a house into a home.

My LOVE towards my kids

Being mommy of two boys, they are hands full! I am ectopic mommy, I had my right fallopian tube remove because gynae said it its not remove I might need to have second surgery! It is gift of God, I am having two wonderful boys.

I have learn that I cannot be selfish, it is family first now and I don't spend all on myself anymore. Children needs formula milk powder and diapers. I have not breastfeeding my youngest boy anymore, he's going to be two year old this June. I am lack of breast milk so best for him would be formula milk powder. I never regret breastfeeding my eldest boy for three and half year.

I would be thinking twice or triple before I shop anything, frankly speaking I am shopping for my boys more. I purchased books for him to learn and practice, I will check on the price if there is promotion it would be even better.

The borders voucher that I won last November I got it not long ago. I decided to use it today since I am at The Curve in the evening. I just check on my other post and find out that I won the voucher in March not November. What was I thinking? I must be tired.

I see in the mirror that I having heavy dark circle eyes. I only received the voucher in June, I am fine with that as long as the sponsored remember to send it to me. RM100 voucher I thinking for sometimes on what I need to spend on.

I do not see any Magazine at Borders, why is that? Books that I am interested are not available or too expensive for me.
