Happy Christmas!
How is everyone this time of year? I am buzzing at the moment because my boyfriend is about to take me out to buy a new Pandora charm for my Christmas present. I'm thinking I will choose either a Star pendent or a "H" (for his name) pendent! It has to be special because it will be my last charm I receive for 2011, and 2011 has been a year of many changes for me!

Leaving my job late September to take on proper fashion blogging has probably been the most scariest and exciting decision of my life. I was constantly in tears all the time at my old job, just heading to the bathroom and sitting on the floor wailing... it was definitely a dark time but now I have hope for 2012.

I hope you've had a good 2011 and have found some great resolutions for 2012 (but that's for NYE). Actually, we should be concentrating on being merry and enjoying time with family and friends.

I'm totally going off topic here, so now I will talk about fashion. Wearing my favorite piece in my wardrobe - my Topshop leather jacket. Most of the time I buy new clothing I always tend to picture in my head if it will look good with this jacket. I just spent $250 on ASOS just then so I hope all my new garments go well with this jacket (fingers crossed).

Have a safe and wonderful Christmas!
Much love~

Partied way too hard in a Zara skirt and Stanwells' Carthusia Perfume Ligea

Forever 21 cardigan
Sportsgirl floral brooch
Zara skirt (similar here)
MAC Morange lipstick

I've had an eventful week, I graduated from my dealer school and am now certified to run a Blackjack game (oh my!) had my Staff Christmas Party, my graduation party, my friends catch-up dinners, and also got SO sick the following days after...
I was sick in bed this week, probably due to my graduation party drinks, my Saturday night drinks, then my Sunday staff party drinks.. all that drinking made my body shut down.
I promised a lot more consistent blogging, but I think I was pushing my body too far!
Luckily I'm better today to take some photos. I went to my boyfriend's work Christmas Party but I was smart enough to say no to drinks.
I wore a pretty perfume you can buy from Stanwells called 'Ligea' by Carthusia. It smells really feminine and with a hint of mandarin and rose.
If you like my girly outfit today, I highly recommend the Ligea perfume if you're a girly girl ;)
I'm wearing a bright Zara skirt and contrasted it with stripes and added more colour with my lipstick and flowers! I love dressing according to my mood!

ALSO, I'll be @ Wynyard Park, Sydney this Thursday 15th December  between 12.30PM to 5PM on OPSM's Sunshine Tour. I'll be there discussing sunglasses (mostly Ray-bans!!) with Sydney-siders and sharing my styling tips. Come visit me and say hi! :)

Much love~

I wear a mink DIY maxi skirt, and suddenly I'm in the tropics

Hi all! Thank you again for such beautiful comments, they really keep me going and making me believe that the blogging world can be kinder than most worlds.
I'm doing a quick post today, because I've got to head out soon to meet my best friends in the city. I'm wearing my maxi skirt that I sewn myself a few weeks ago, and is now perfect for the Spring weather in Sydney. I bought this fabric because it was a stunning mink color, and the silky heavy fabric was nice to the touch. I paired it with a crop sequin top (sorry for the bare midriff!) and a leather belt. My make-up is simple; a bright orange blush, with black and gold eyeliner and a pale pink lipstick (all my makeup is MAC). Standing around the tropical-like green plants really made me feel I was in India or south east Asia.

Speaking of South east Asia, my mom is actually staying in Cambodia right now until November, she rang me today saying there are crazing floods around the Mekong River and has to get around by boats. But she is safe, and she seems to enjoy it.

I need to go on holidays, hopefully New York soon <3
I'm off to meet my friends now! Have a great weekend!
xx Natalie

P.S I love love love this ASOS parka. I'm not in Autumn though :(

Why have one Peterpan collar when you can have three

Forever 21 denim shorts
Forever 21 clogs
Sportsgirl belt
Fossil Watch
Lime Crime Cosmopop lipstick

Hi all! You guys have certainly brightened up my day. Its funny that I'm not the only one that buys things because of music stars, I'm not alone! Your comments are so sweet, and I love you all.

I've been quite sad lately and have been depressed at work. I've been working as an assistant buyer for a fashion company for nearly 2 years now, but unfortunately the company is not for me. And I will resign this week. I think a break is needed for me, and I would like to find out what it is I would want to do in life.

It's most likely I'll stay in the fashion industry, since I absolutely love clothes and styling and design. I just hope an opportunity comes up soon, but in a new company that I'll love.

What industries do you guys work in? I would love to know!

Today I'm wearing a triple layer Peterpan collared shirt by Topshop, and some lovely denim shorts by Forever 21. I'm loving the collar on this, its so quirky and makes an outfit unique. I've also layered green on green clothing, in a montone fashion, and paired it up with a contrasting orange lip colour. It's been raining in Sydney so I took some photos against a green wall :)

Enjoy!

Also, please vote for me in this "We love Wool" competition! I would love all your support!

You've just gotta love CAPITAL H & M

Friday, June 24, 2011

What I wore today: H&M lace dress (find similar H&M item here), Asos Cardigan (find similar Asos item here), Ebay socks (find similar item here), Novu shoes (find similar item here), Lancel bag (find similar item here), Chanel sunglasses (find item here), feather earrings (find similar item here), MAC 'cyber' lipstick (find item here), Fossil watch (find item here)

I love H&M, I cannot stress how much. I first discovered H&M when I visited France a couple of years ago. Compared to the shops in Sydney, it was a clothing wonderland. I have never seen so many beautiful products under the same label in one place at the same time. My poor credit card, it got the biggest work out!

Here is me showing some public display of affection (PDA hehe) with the CAPITAL H&M. Look how much I love it, and look how much it loves me. Today I take my innocent lace dress and wear it with some of my edginess. Dark lipstick, dark socks, dark shoes, just the way I like it. Tell me how much you love H&M and link your favourite H&M look below! I'll love to see it!
Oh and also, aren't you guys excited about the collaboration with Versace?!
