I've been tattoo hunting this Winter, as I've been craving to get inked these past few days (my new addiction). I've been contemplating on getting bird sillouettes on my back or an eternity sign behind my neck as I care so much about freedom and escape and love. While its the depths of winter I haven't been road-tripping much nor visiting nature I find I'm desperate to get a cheap thrill or just to run away. And it's been two months since I've had one. I'm sick, so sick of waiting around, being a good girl and being patient.
However, my boyfriend does keep tabs on me so I can't dissapear off the face of the Earth just yet. I also can't get inked this week (going Japanese spas soon) so instead I walk around in fur coats and don some beautiful jewellery from Sistaco for a thrill.
 I'm not a naturally glamourous person, I admit I'm rough around the egdes, not neat nor poised so Sistaco's jewelry glamorous look does the perfect job. Although I've been contemplating on my new tattoo designs for weeks now, I had no hestitaions about my choices from Sistaco jewelry collection. Everything on that website is perfect.

Dress Nation: Harper Red Dress

Lady in Red. This was the only song my boyfriend could think of when he saw me in this impeccable dress. With this dress doing all the hard work for me, my boyfriend couldn't take his eyes off me because he really does love a Lady in Red (and that damned song).
Of course, I chose this dress because of his tastes and it pleases me to see him pleased. From Dress Nation, this dress is beautifully sculptured, enhancing my waist and natural curves and leaves me feeling elegant and sophisticated. Hughie wants me to wear it my best friend's wedding but I have a feeling this dress is too much of a stunner and I could never think of taking any sort of attention from my best friend! I'll just save this dress for a special, special date night for Hughie in the future <3

The Stark Red Desert and Summer Sky

With the ultimate colour shock, I venture out to the dry lands of Sydney. Where the grass does not grow lush, there is dirt and yellow dry grass. Sometimes I like my city gritty, it, too cannot shield itself from the harsh nature thus its true colours come out.
Everyday my true colours reveal itself as I live out my daily life - at home, while blogging, at my part time job, and my interaction with my friends family and boy.
Sometimes life does not always goes as well as you like it, but I've found that I have buckets of patience and perseverance at most times. And then when I'm at my ends wit, I just run away.
I wear White Milk's 'Summer Sky' necklace, because of its' colour and it's name. I love that wistful name.. 'Summer Sky'. It's the sort of sky I want to see when I run away. And thus my true colours reveals itself once more.

Stereosonic 2012: Cat Ears and One Teaspoon

Finally I have recovered from my crazy four day weekend (which ended with a 10 hour shift at work) and my highlight was definitely Stereosonic! The music festival featured Calvin Harris, Tiesto, Example and Avicci. I decided on a black on black outfit with cute cat ears instead of my usual white tee or singlet with pale blue denim shorts. I danced for at least 7 hours, charged on red bull and vodka. I ate bad food - hot chips, chewing gum and old hot dogs. I also almost passed out under the hot sun but as from my years of music festival experiences I just carried on, on, on and on.. letting the music carry me away.
