Dust to Dust (cont.) |
Run forward a bit, and you'll find yourself confronted with the sniper again. Hole up in the little walled area to the left and take out the lesser enemies, and then move right and strafe over against the wall toward the sniper and then approach him by quick-moving between cover. He'll run off yet again.
As you approach the bridge, Wesley will crack wise about an ambush. Of course he's right. Duck behind the box on the right. There are gunners hiding on either side across the bride. Use curved bullets to hit the one on the right, and shoot out the mine by the guy on the left. A knife guy will also charge you. Cross the bridge, take cover and take out the guy on the balcony to the right. Now you'll need to contend with a bullet-dodger. Arcing a high one at him can help, but you'll probably want to get close. On the left, behind a small dumpster in the corner is a well-hidden Concept Art
Once the way is clear, round the corner. The firefight is tough from this angle, and the grenades are flying so move over to the area on the right where you can get around the columns and move your way closer to your targets. This also gives you a clear crack at the man on the balcony, and room to move laterally to avoid grenades. Opposite this area under the overhang, there is a Concept Art unlock. Head up the stairs to reach a long overdue checkpoint.
Get behind the sandbags and take out the two men. Now turn left and go to the second bench on the left. Take cover and you'll be able to grab a Picture unlock - probably the hardest to find in the game. Now go back to the sandbags and rush forward and get behind the crates. The sniper is back, and a good number other baddies. Press forward to the stone columns. Pick off as many as you can (there are a few tricky bullet-dodgers but you can't get close because of the sniper). Quick-move right and around the corner and fight the rest of the enemies from this vantage point. When they're gone quick-move forward between pieces of cover and approach the area under the sniper's balcony. From here you can get a crack at the sniper himself. Now head toward the exit, just beyond the sandbags, but before you do, turn around and go down the left side (the side opposite the one with the sniper) to find a Concept Art tucked away by some crates forming a barricade. Head out the exit to end the level.
