Knitting

Morning all!
Can't believe that the sun is shining.  It started off a bit misty but it's lovely now.  A change of plans for today, I was supposed to be going out with my friend but her granddaughter decided to come to stay so I'm having a crafty day instead.  Mr C finishes work at midday and will be asleep in the afternoon so I'll stay upstairs and keep quiet.

I had a lovely day with my Aunt yesterday.  We started off having lunch and a look around Dobbies at Monifieth then had a wee walk around the shops in Broughty Ferry before having a drive along the seafront.  We are going back when the weather's warmer so we can have a seat outside and an ice cream from Visocchi's!

I didn't venture into the craftroom last night but sat and knitted this little shopping bag instead.  I was thinking of selling them at the school fete I'm going to, what do you think?

Hope you enjoy the rest of your day, I'm off to be crafty.
Hugs

Helloooooooo - it's me!!!

Hi everyone
A quick post to let you know that I'm still in the land of the living!  I've really enjoyed my break from crafting but am beginning to think I might start again in the New Year but certainly not to the same extent as I did before as I've sold all my stuff!!!  No regrets and I can always buy more if needs must. :)

I've been busy doing other crafty stuff.  The knitting pins have been red hot.  I've done lots of knitting for Christmas.  I've got piccies for you of a couple of dolls I've dressed.  It is impossible to get 'naked dolls' nowadays so I went to the car boot sale and picked these two up for £1 each.  Popped them through the wash and hey presto, as good as new.  I also knitted a pair of wrist warmers for my daughter.  She's broken the same wrist 3 times and when it's cold and frosty it aches so I thought they'd be good for her as she can even wear them while at work as her fingers are free.  I've now knitted so many pairs of them I've lost count.  I don't even need the pattern any more as it's committed to memory.

All the parcels are wrapped and I've just got some baking to do.  We are going to spend Christmas with our son and DIL so I've no cooking to do (yippee) and we are going to my cousin's for NY so again, no cooking to do (double yippee).

I hope you are all well and getting organised for the festivities.

Keep warm and safe.
Hugs
