Nurse With Wound or NWW is a British experimental music band, formed in 1978 by Steven Stapleton, John Fothergill and Heman Pathak. In 1979 Heman left the group, and in 1981 it effectly became a solo project of Steven Stapleton, with a variety of assisting musicians over the years.
Purveyors of sinister whimsy to the wretched.

Possible Nursemix For Sun And Moon Ensemble
(2006)
1 Possible Nursemix For Sun And Moon Ensemble (13:11)
Edition in slimline jewel case first made available at the Nurse With Wound concerts on June 15 & 16, 2006 in San Francisco.
This is NOT a limited edition of 40 copies. Note from Matt Waldron (the artist who made this CD):
What it is --- the disc contained a 13 minute soundtrack for the Sun and Moon Ensemble, a large-scale puppet troupe that opened the second night in San Francisco. I put the soundtrack together using various released and unreleased Nurse tracks (the "possible" in the title was there because I wanted to get Steve's approval on the mix, but needed to send something to the Ensemble so they could start formulating ideas).
Why it was there --- Steve and Colin were both very happy with the results of the mix, so I decided to print up some copies to put up for sale as a show souvenir. This also seemed a good way of earning a little extra cash to cover the time I had to miss from work in order to prepare for the shows. My idea was to sell them for $5 each, but I was discouraged from doing this by the suggestion that a handful of people would buy all of the copies and then put them up on eBay for $100 the next day. $15 seemed a reasonable compromise. The eBay scenario turned out to be true regardless.

All original artwork, signed and numbered by both artists. In addition, each set in this collection will also contain an original 12 x 16 inch painting by Steven Stapleton. Limited to 50 sets.
The Surveillance Lounge (2009)
In 2007 NWW were invited, by the Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau Foundation via In Famous, to perform a live soundtrack at La Cite de la Musique in Paris to the 1922 Murnau film, "Der brennende Acker". The new sounds that were generated and musical parts recorded for the film became rudimentary building blocks for "The Surveillance Lounge".
Nurse With Wound never fail to surprise and just when you maybe thought you could second guess how this might sound, they completely shift the direction. In contrast to the last release "Huffin' Rag Blues", this release focuses on the darker side of Nurse With Wound. Whilst keeping a fresh contemporary feel, it nods towards some of the older, more sinister material. Current 93's David Tibet is featured on the disc along with the mainstays of Steven Stapleton and Andrew Liles.

Awesome! Wow, thanks.
Is the track listing a little wonky?
Many thanks for all your great uploads here, however your files for the NWW "May the fleas.." seems to be corrupt. Tracks 11 and 12
are wonky if I remember correctly.
I've since received my copy of the CD and have posted it over on my blog Teenage Riot (http://teenageriotblog.blogspot.com/). I've added you to my links there too.
Now you have a place in heaven. Thanks.
Thanks very much indeed!.
I have been looking for the Hostess Twinkie Mixes N:1-25 for so long.
Would you accept a donation?.
Thanks.
