Roger Doyle is an irish experimental musician, co-founder of the music-theatre company Operating Theatre, awarded at the now defunct Bourges International Electroacoustic Music Competition (GMEB, France, 1997).
By saving his scholarship living expenses money Roger Doyle financed and came back from Holland with his first LP under his arm OIZZO NO (1975) [go to the doorstep], a mixture of acoustic and electronic pieces. A further scholarship took him to the Finnish Radio Experimental Music Studio for a year. CBS Records released a second LP THALIA in 1978. A third LP was released in 1981 on the London United Dairies label RAPID EYE MOVEMENTS, his 'masterpiece before the age of 30' (rogerdoyle.com)

All tracks recorded in 1985 except B2 (1990) and B3 (1996). Mastered from reel 2-track and cassettes, no noise reduction used.
Most of the material has only been available on tapes before but here in a different mix than previously released, a few of them are exclusive. Very dark analog synth music, spaced out and psychedelic atmosphear. Vinyl limited to 300 numbered copies.

Vitamin B12 aka Alasdair Willis (who played saxophone on " Juice Head Crazy Lady" in the Nurse With Wound's Huffin' Rag Blues) delivered with this 7" a "musique concrete" variation of the techno age. Good and simple.

"The Vitamin B12 is Alasdair Willis. Reclusive Brighton based author of contemporary surrealist artifacts. This single was commissioned for Rafts instrumental series, specifically with the 7" medium in mind.
The two pieces are vastly contrasting and perhaps some small clue to their aesthetic may be placed within the titles themselves...
68 x 32 is a Musique Concrete assemblage so therefore must be art, and as such it can only be judged by posterity, no one yet can really say what the record is like.
System Six is a melodic composition for tuned percussion sounds, with a surprisingly liberating, yet oddly mind-bending ascending motif, which calls on the infinite resources that can be gleaned from careful application of the laws of repetition, that can be gleaned from careful application of the laws of repetition laws of repetition of repetition. La bonne idée de ce festival est de proposer des artistes et des sélections hors des sentiers battus : ici, pas vraiment de pop, de rock ou de techno, mais plutôt autre chose. (...)
Les 31 octobre et 1er novembre, le festival se déplace au Centre Pompidou : le premier soir, une rencontre imprévue entre Boubacar Traoré et le groupe anglais Nurse With Wound devrait occasionner un décloisonnement bienvenu de deux traditions dont on découvrira avec plaisir les affinités électives. Here is some information from the person who made this collection
"I downloaded a series of rare NWW files off the net in and around 2001, probably from Napster or something. I wanted to put them on CD for myself but I hate calling things "Nurse With Wound - Various Rare Tracks", as it's a bit boring. At the time, I was file sharing with a couple of people who were into experimental music. As a joke, I packaged this with a quickly made up JPG "cover" and told them I found this bootleg on the internet. I hadn't, but I wanted to see if they'd buy it. Somehow it got past them and obviously ended up getting traded about. This was in 2001. I know this because the creation date on the JPG I made is from 2001. Keep in mind that this was never meant to be a bootleg. It was never burned to CD-R or sold. Absolutely NO money was made from this. It was basically just a rarities collection I made to share between a few friends. I own a large NWW collection and would ALWAYS buy any of these tracks if I found them and will support Stephen until the end, financially and otherwise. The JPG is basically a crude reference to the cover of "Homotopy To Marie", one of my favorite album covers of all time. The title literally comes from two random images I found on the net and stuck together in photoshop for the cover. I didn't actually think anybody would take it seriously."
