Warmest greetings to all the lovely peeps reading this post today! And my special warmest welcome to my newest followers - so lovely to see you joining in!

I've been so busy lately with crafting (yay!) and getting ready to redecorate our living room (double yay!), that I haven't had a chance to blog about my exciting news yet!

I am really trilled to have my very own display at Yarnton Nurseries Garden Centre in Yarnton near Oxford! My little exhibition features some of my favourite pieces ever and most of them are available to purchase :). My work will be featured there until the end of April. 

If you are in the area, do pop in as this is such a fantastic garden centre. After you've had a walk around you can enjoy a delicious coffee and cake in the Oasis Restaurant, which is where you can see my work displayed.

I will be back with some crafty offerings before too long. Until then, please stay safe and warm (very windy and wet in the UK at the moment). Thank you for your lovely visit and for all the warm thoughts you'd like to share :).

Hobbycraft Saturday shenanigans :)

Did you know there is a new Hobbycraft store in Oxford now? Cool, isn't it? :)


And guess what?!!!

This Saturday, 3rd of November, between 11.00am and 3.00pm I will be there!!! I am doing a demo with some delicious Decopatch stuff and I will be playing with Tattered Florals, too!

If you're in the area, please pop in to say hello :)). And if you can't come, please keep your fingers crossed, as I am a tiny bit nervous...lol ;)).

I will also try to bring some of my projects with me so you could see the fruits of my Creative Spell close up :).

Turning the temperature up - heat embossing and Fashionable Stamping Challenges #20

It got hot, hot, hot in my craft room (or studio, as my lovely friend Ruby would say it!). 


And that's because I've been playing with my heat tool to create this little number ;-).

This time at Fashionable Stamping Challenges we are playing with embossing - heat or dry, you choose!


As always, one lucky winner will receive a lovely prize from Marina from the Cottage Crafts.

For my card I used Tim Holtz shabby chic papers and the beautiful flower/swirl stamp set is Jumbo Dahlia from Stampendous. The corners of the card are also stamped with the grungy border stamps from Stempelglede.

The flower was heat embossed with a black sparkly embossing powder. Then I coloured it with Inktense pencils and added some highlights with cosmic shimmer water colour paints. The picture doesn't show it well but the flower virtually glows in the sun light.

The tiny butterflies are from the Papermania Urban stamp set.

Creative Spell Designs shop now open! ;)

Hello Friends ;)


I hope you enjoyed your Easter break. I managed to see some friends that I haven't seen for ages which was great.


A while ago I promised to share with you what I have been up to whilst I had a break from blogging ;).


Well, here's the first reveal ;).


I have been asked many times why I don't sell my art... 


I mostly spend my crafty time making birthday/anniversary cards/gifts for my family/friends, which I love. But then, I only get to enjoy (looking at) them for a day or so, before they have to be posted ;). As a result, I always feel very emotionally attached to the items I am lucky enough to keep lol ;).


However I've finally grown to this brave decision to 'part with my art' ;). I am therefore very excited to announce that my new Etsy shop has now opened its doors to everyone willing to have a look!

With this new (ad)venture, I have also created a new facebook page dedicated to my shop and all things Etsy.
